This season, we're gonna win it all. No, seriously. I can feel it... maybe...

Why isn't winning it every year from now on an option?

    The post funk era
    I said 2012.

Are D is too young to make any real strong push tell they have a few years of experience.

We still have a few players that need to develop and a couple of missing players for a SB run this year. Maybe next season (if there is one) will be the charm. At any rate, even if not this regime is building the talent on this team up...

My exact thoughts. It will be 2012 when we win it, but with luck I think we can make an appearance in the SB as early as next year. Need one year to get Nolan's defense sorted out.

I selected next year. I think we can go there then. I think we can win it then and def the year after that if we have another inside LB and a good RB.

I believe we have the tools to do it this season, but I voted 2011 because we are young and that seems more likely.

Yeah, I tend to think our D is a little too green right now. Our schedule the 1st half of the season looks pretty brutal. I guess we'll find out early whether or not we're capable of making a run this season.

I actually think we'll be in a position to make a run all of those years. This team is being built for the long-term. And if you have a decent passing game and an opportunistic defense you're a threat to make a run any year. I believe we have many of the pieces necessary to do that in place. I think along with the expected development of Henne we need for a FS to develop (there's a decent chance that Clemons might be good enough). I'd also like a better receiving TE, but I don't think that's as critical.

if things fall right this year we have every possibility of competing @ the SuperBowl: we will contend in 2010

We will make some serious noise this year but I think we need one more draft to fill all the holes. 2011 and 2012 will both be our years.

Let me tell you guys something. When it comes to trash talking and stuff like that,I will get up into your grill or tell the enemy how I feel about their team. I always defend "my" team to the bitter end also.BUT, I have never been one for predictions and betting against our beloved team. Why? Maybe it's been because we haven't been able to do anything since we had a shot in 84'-85' or 95'..??? How the hell do I know, until now!
There is this weird aura I've been feeling about this team the last few months and I'm not sure what it is at this time.People have been coming up to me and asking for my predictions about the team this year(as they always do) and all that comes out of my mouth is "watch out",something special is going to happen. Mind you,my predictions every year are far from outrageous because I'm a realist in the fact of how good or bad our team is IMO.
Am I saying the Dolphins are going to be Superbowl Champs this year? Sheesh,I think that every year.
I'm saying that we are going to make some noise in the playoffs and who knows what can happen.NFL teams will now be on notice that the Dolphins are back to being perennial contenders for the Lombardi Trophy.
Now that is something I haven't predicted in a long, long time!

I think this season will be a strong push towards a championship, most in the media are concentrating on other teams in the division but I think we step into the playoffs. However as others have said we might have to wait until our rookies especially on defense develop more. I expect our Superbowl run will be in 2011.

Why not look for this year to be the year. The NFL is always full of surprises. Why CAN'T this be the year. You never know. Skill, luck, staying injury free all play a role. This COULD be the Dolphins' year. It's not unrealistic. It's very hopeful, but not out of the realm of possibility. I will never pick against my Dolphins. Realistically, it doesn't seem like it will be this year. But, this team has improved quite a bit. And was competitive in EVERY game last season. With improved QB play, a more consistent defense, and it's very realistic for us to think we can be in the thick of things when it comes playoff time. Damn the over-rated, over blown Jets.

im not saying that were going to win the ship this year but i am saying that we are going to beat some heads in, win the east, beat the w-e-t-s twice again, split with the pats and atleast make it to the divisional round of the playoffs. im predicting between 10 to 12 wins

our SB window opens THIS year ... for the next 3-5 years ...

we have a couple positions that will lack experience - but by mid-season, we will be well postured to start our run.
