Well, we won't know for another 2 weeks, chances are good he does not play against the Panthers, then we have 10 days off, so JP will have almost 3.5 weeks to heal up.
I'm most in favor of the Joey Porter that sits the bench. Charlie Anderson played his butt off yesterday and I would keep him out there. The defense needed a spark and it got one out of guys like Anderson and Wake. Joey Porter can be inactive the rest of the season as long as I see a pass rush like I saw most of the game yesterday.
Apparently he left practice early on Friday claiming he was not feeling well but he went out partying instead of going home.
It is not in print it is all over the air on WQAM when I hangout on the net I have WQAM in the background.

The team won't reveal the reason for Porter's deactivation publicly, but NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports that Porter's off-field habits last week were the cause. Porter reportedly was nursing an injury and feeling under the weather, so he was excused to go home from the facility early. Except that he didn't go home, and the team learned Porter went "elsewhere." For now, both sides appear to be putting the incident in the past. The Dolphins face Carolina in three short days in a battle of former 0-3 teams trying to climb back to .500. The team's pass rush hardly missed Porter, so it will be interesting to watch if he gets his usual amount of snaps Thursday.
If I was coaching the team I wouldn't play Porter this week. I would sit him again this week for a couple reason. One, it gives him another 10 days to heal. Two, it gives us a chance to see a little more of Anderson and Wake.
