    2007 is worse.

2011: Backup QB playing, 3rd string FS now playing, banged up starting CB, backup RB starting, etc. The team has talent but they're a mess now because the staff is on the way out and the staff sucks to begin with and have a terrible QB situation.

Cameron was able to put together a decent line for a while with guys like Hadnot, Carey at LT and players like that.

and when yougrade the talent versus the perfomance you have to say it' this team...

at least the 2007 team had talent issues and it showed out on the field...

What is this year's team excuse??? and don't tell me its just coaching...please...

Took the liberty of adding a poll to the thread. Hope you don't mind. :)

The 2011 team is better IMO. This team is more talented, more competitive and are much less sloppy/mistake-prone than Cameron's group. This group still supports their coach and haven't given up.

The 2007 group was sloppy and flat out embarrassing. They had little faith in their coach and checked out long before the season ended. Fail Forward Fast? At least this year you can blame some of the nagging injuries and conditioning on the lockout. Cameron institutionally made the team soft and out of shape (via his country club practice mentality), leading to an astronomical IR list.

And you had guys like Joey Porter tearing apart the head coach in front of the team and getting away with it.

With that said, we are approaching the part of the season where guys can check out, give up and such. But all else aside, this team is unquestionably more talented IMO.

How do you really know??? Only the players can say for sure... Do you think Tony or the players are going to say anything they have???

and many of us can gage the body expressions of the players and that speaks a lot even if they don't say anything...

IMHO, this team has quit after the Cleveland game... it showed it against Denver, the Jets and today against the Giants...

They have enough talent to overcome adverisity... still... they don't...

    WHY????

EDITED_ They quit since last year's last game against NE...

2007. That team was almost completely devoid of talent. How Camarillo grabbed that pass and saved us from 0-16 is still beyond me. This team has talent, why they are losing like they are is still suprising to me. And regardless of anything or how things have turned out, I still like Coach Sparano way better than " Fail, Forward, Fast" Cameron. Caoch Sparano still needs to go and take Ireland with Him.
