What it looks like to me: White was told he will have to play a position other than QB, and he's the last on the planet Earth to have considered it.

I hope he finds the help he needs whatever the issue may be.

 

My first thought was I wonder if he's really going back to baseball. I know he'd been drafted by several teams in the past, my Reds included took him 2-3 years back.

However, I feel like it's something pretty serious. Family matter or substance abuse perhaps?

 

If its a PED issue than he wouldnt be suspended for the whole year, since it would be his first offense.

It could be a medical or mental issue.

 

I'm hearing this could be the case. We will find out

 

If it's just being depressed because he knows he can't play QB, then he needs to suck it up and be a man. If it's a substance abuse problem, then makes the regime's decision easy, cut him.

ummm thats irresponsible journalism at its finest. a few hours ago.....his camp was over and season in jeopardy. and now hes out there practicing this morning.

My guess is that he may have or it was believed he had a serious physical (or perhaps mental) issue.

Well, I have absolutely no idea if this is something or not. But, I'm inclined to think where there's smoke there's fire. My guess...the rigors of being a pro football player, and the criticism I'm sure he's heard/read may be catching up with him. Kinda like what Vince Young went through 2-3 years ago maybe? :confused2: I also wouldn't rule out him being PO'ed or depressed over a positional change being forced on him.

All I can say is I hope he gets his s__t together. For his sake, and ours.

 

Yeah but if he's out there practicing today, what does any of what you said matter? If he never showed up, sure it makes sense.

Like I said, usually where there's smoke there's fire. In other words, I think there's more to this story than what meets the eye. Something just don't add up. In fact, I think whatever it was, we probably haven't heard the last of it. Reckon only time will tell.
