Interesting. I was watching him last week against NE and it looked like he was taking a lot of plays off. I remember him standing straight up and not engaging the NE lineman at all while Brady just sat back there all day. IMO, he dialed his season in and if you remember he had to be talked into coming back by Crowder in the offseason.
I thought it was Crowder his fishing buddy. I remember Crowder saying that he took him fishing a bunch of times to try and talk him into it.
Sources said that the incident sparked another confrontation on Monday, when linebacker Joey Porter challenged coach Cam Cameron at a team meeting for not acting quickly enough to break up the fight on the plane. Best part yet. thats what i wna hear. SO much for a coach with POWER DISCIPLINE AND AUTHORITY. He can't stop a fight on a plane then benches the man for the last game. He takes action on that but not on losers that can' tcome thru block or even play. I love it.
Yep, here is the link about it. Thought I was having a senior moment there. http://www.nfl.com/news/story;jsess...d80134afb&template=without-video&confirm=true
The Palm Beach Post has an article about the Traylor incident as well with a little more detail. http://www.palmbeachpost.com/dolphins/content/sports/epaper/2007/12/30/1230traylor.html
Man , after reading that.......I want Cam gone more then ever. I think for the most part Cam's a good guy, but he'll never have the " balls " to be a leader of men, or kids or ants. I'm thinking a monkey rolling some dice would of had just as much luck as he did in Charger land.
Seems as though Cameron is losing the respect and contol of his players. Having a verbal fight with one of the players on a flight sure doesn't say much for the coach. Of course none of us know what the fight was about, just that it was between Cam and Traylor.
According to this it was with Cam. MIAMI GARDENS — An argument last week between Dolphins coach Cam Cameron and defensive tackle Keith Traylor led to the 38-year-old veteran being sent home . http://www.palmbeachpost.com/dolphins/content/sports/epaper/2007/12/30/1230traylor.html
After reading that, I don't see how you can bring Cameron back. Not unless you gut pretty much the entire team.
So, if I understand this correctly, it wasn't a fight in the sense it was a physical altercation, but rather a fight as in a verbal dispute between two parties. I have to say deactivating Traylor doesn't make a lot of sense, we really missed him out there against the Bengals today. That said, this is only the first of many other changes I'm sure we will see over the course of the next few days.
Thx for that fishyanks. So that tells me we have hostilities on both sides of the ball. I dont know what the disagrement was about so its hard to comment. What i do know Cams decision has caused more disruption on the team. Its a car wreck.
From the MH: Traylor, 38, was involved in an altercation with offensive linemen Vernon Carey and Rex Hadnot in the first-class section of the plane during the team's flight back to South Florida after the loss to the New England Patriots last week, the sources said. It is unknown what sparked the heated argument between them. All three players had seats in first class. Several people on the flight attempted to get Traylor under control with much resistance. He continued to refuse to be seated as the plane was in its descent into Florida, one of the sources said.
I thought this was about #47. They were chewing him up play after play on that Cincy drive before the half. Derrick Pope gave him an earful, so did Jason Allen.
i think cam needs to dismiss himself cause this is ridiculous and he doesnt deserve to be a headcoach.
