Johnson from the Cards , and some other people but i just want to know who u guys think could be a good fit in miami In the first round i would like to get Chris Long if we dont trade down and in the second round i think we should get Colt Brennan or Andre' Woodson if Bill didnt like what he saw form Beck today

And I'm not a fan of spending big this offseason, this is a rebuilding job, not a retooling.Last edited: Dec 30, 2007 -
If Brennan/Brohm/Woodson fall to the 2nd I wouldn't mind picking one up. If we don't I'll be fine with that too.
Good list tho man.like2god likes this. -
i played against malcolm jenkins in hs hehad two defensive tds against us lol. He was also a running back/ wide reciever i had two tackles for a loss on him in that game makes me feel god knowin he will be playin on sundays. The guy is a baller, he played for Piscataway high school in New Jersey

Free agency:
I'd like to see us pick up a good veteran for the O-Line, any position except centre and to re-sign Hadnot.
There appear to be 2 or 3 very good CBs coming onto the market and I'd like to see us snag one of them.
Apart from that depth and a ST gunner or two.
Draft:
Dline.
Middle Linebacker - maybe 2 if we permanently shift to 3/4 as I see us set at OLB with Channing Crowder, Joey Porter and Derrick Pope providing a solid group of OLBs.
O-Line
depth in the secondary and offensive skill positions. We need a shut down corner but I'd prefer us to fill that need via free agency and save our draft picks for other positions. -
You don't go for any big names in FA this year. This team is too far away to start signing big names. It'll only be a cap hit and take time away from developing other players. Might you win more games now because of it? Sure, but you are just as likely to be mortgaging your future. This team should really only be spending in FA to fill holes (ie get a NT if there is not one on the roster), not improve positions.
