That joke went waay over your head bro. Boik was saying if you're going to bring in those scrubs, you might as well don't bring them in, run the Wildcat every play, and go QB-less.

 

No, it actually didn't, because Vince Young isn't a scrub and a scrambler is better than a statue. Simple as that.

I posted a pass to run ratio (which qualifies as "a bunch of stats") because I don't agree with his point of view. You even confirmed that we (Boik and I) had different philosophies, which I responded to and reaffirmed.

Post #82 is wrong or post #85 is wrong. Either way, you contradicted yourself at least once and put words in Boik's mouth.

 

Boik made a joke. You went into run/pass ratio showing you didn't get the joke. That had nothing to do with what he said unless you thought he was saying they should come in only to run the Wildcat. You even started posting about Alex Smith running and compared Young's R/P ratio to Vick's. That would only be done by someone who didn't get the joke. You would not have talked about Alex Smith running if you got it. Admit you didn't get it and move on. Boik didn't want them at all and was saying we should just run the Wildcat with RB's the whole time.

See. Clearly you thought he said we'd bring in Alex Smith to run the Wildcat. Then you said Vick and Young don't run the Wildcat on every play. That doesn't have anything to do with what Boik said. Besides, when the Eagles went Single Wing, Vick was the one who ran it. They don't use it anymore since Vick is the starting QB. Also, the Titans never use Single Wing.
