havent analyzed every team yet but I love the Giants draft so far Round 1, Pick 19 (19) Prince Amukamara CB 6'0" 206 Nebraska Round 2, Pick 20 (52) Marvin Austin DL 6'2" 309 North Carolina Round 3, Pick 19 (83) Jerrel Jernigan WR 5'9" 185 Troy Round 4, Pick 20 (117) James Brewer OL 6'6" 323 Indiana Round 6, Pick 20 (185) Greg Jones LB 6'0" 242 Michigan St. Round 6, Pick 33 (198) (Comp Selection) Tyler Sash SS 6'0" 211 Iowa Round 6, Pick 37 (202) (Comp Selection) Jacquian Williams LB South Florida Round 7, Pick 18 (221) Da'Rel Scott RB 5'11" 211 Maryland
If the Chiefs don't reach for Baldwin, then I would say they had the best draft. But I agree with the Giants.
I love what the Lions did for themselves. They only had five picks and could have the most impact from their rookies. That DL was scary and just got terrifying. They have completed their skill positions and if they get anything from their O line... Look out. Nick Fairley Titus Young Mikel Leshoure Douglas Hogue (LB Syracuse) Johnny Culbreath (OT South Carolina St.)
Cleveland Browns near the top IMO. Phil Taylor Jabaal Sheard Greg Little Jordan Cameron Owen Marecic Buster Scrine Jason Pinkston Eric Hagg There's 6-7 potential starters right there....... with 4 potential pro bowlers.
I thought the Bucs filled big needs with Claybourn and Bowers (steal) and Mason Foster. Addressed D. They are a force in the NFC South.
Don't mean to be a homer, but I have to give our draft some props. I'd be jealous of it if I were a Pats fan.
Browns, Redskins, had solid drafts, Raiders did as well but as usual Al Davis got his pocket picked by new england. Thought the Ravens had a impactful draft and the Bills surprisingly had a poor draft, the Chargers had some reaches. Bengals got several starters out of their draft.
The teams mentioned all had good drafts. The Bengals are mentioned by a lot of people, but their draft essentially replaced their best two players who don't want to play for them anymore with their top two picks. That's crazy and I don't remember a team ever having to do that. Until we can factor in the compensation the Bengals receive for moving on from Palmer & Johnson, I don't see how they've improved that circus. Makes you wonder how much the Bengals are kicking themselves now for not trading Johnson to Washington a few years ago for their reported two 1st rounders offer. The Dolphins had a nice draft based on 'Needs', but I'd be lying if I said I saw most of our picks play on Saturdays except Pouncey a lot and Thomas a little.
