Goodell was jacking it when he thought the Pats were going to score, I bet those officials are fired and the officials who officiated the Pats and Dolphins game will be their mandatory officials from here on out.

I follow a ton of Boston sports fans and writers on Twitter because of my Bruins. The whining is DELICIOUS.

They have ALMOST made up for The Tuck, almost.

Id love to see a reporter go off the deep end with Bellichek since he acts that way.

So how does it feel for a change for a referee to not be in your back pocket? Are those tears I saw on Brady's face at the end? Do you have that frog feeling in your throat and want to cry too? Great game coach!

On another topic, how bad is that loss in New England feel now? Up 17-3 at the half. Would have been tied for the division tonight.

If that call had been against us there would be seven "I quit" posts and five "There's a conspiracy against the Dolphins" posts. In my opinion that's a terrible call and likely cost them the game. That said I'm glad the Patriots lost and they have certainly had a few favorable calls and some horseshoe up your *** luck in games before (Saints game this year). Carolina's defense gets all the hype but their offense played a great game tonight, put together some solid drives against a good team. Dolphins have to come up big Sunday or I'm going have to enter the witness protection program.

Caller on sports radio up here just called and suggested Manning would have gotten that call, but because it was Brady, he didn't get the call. Bahahaha. I love the collection of idiots that live up here and blindly root for this team. Sure the call sucked, every team gets a **** call, it happens. I can't wait for the Patriots to turn into the Patriots of the early 90's. I can't wait to watch the fanbase completely disappear. I hate the Jets as a team, but I hate Patriots fans more. Idiots, all of them.

that was the best five minutes I've seen in a long time. I couldn't stop howling at Belichick's *****iness. He's such a sack of turds. Hey Bill, how about the billion times your team has benefited by bad calls eh? Funny thing is, that wasn't a BAD CALL. Gerry Austin had it right, it was deemed noncatchable and with the defender intercepting it, there is nothing to argue. Go home Pats fans. Better luck next week **** faces.

Cam newton sure is a good scrambling Qb..wonder how far that can take a team.

Whatever you gotta do to keep that guy in the pocket, whatever defense is best suited to combat that style of Qb, implement that sh&$ 2maro.

If it wasn't the Broncos, I'd feel sorry for whichever team played the Pats next week. They'd be on the wrong end of the type of calls we got against the Pats after their Jets loss. The refs will be dying to have make up sex with Brady, but with it being Manning and the Broncos they'll be confused over which QB's leg to dry hump.

Next week the Pats will probably get that doddering old fool Walt Tuck Rule Coleman to make sure Brady has his balls caressed real nice all game.

Exactly. Things are falling for us really nicely. We can be within one game of first after next week if we can put together a win (and Pats get Denver). Still have two with the mighty Jests (sweeeep!) and one with the Pats. Let's take this division.

I'm really not sure why a Panthers win bodes well for us. Not only do they have confidence, but they actually won, suggesting they may be better than we thought. Wouldn't it have been better for them to have been blown out, suggesting that maybe they are slipping?

Definite PI. If not PI, definitely holding (anyone mention that yet). Holding doesn't require a catchable ball.

    Good for us.

Damn that Brady is still clutch eh. Call went the wrong way but he got them there. Can't wait till he's gone.

It was a flagrantly horrible call. It was awful, awful, awful.

Its also about goddamn time the Pats see what it feels like to lose because of calls like that, since they have been consistently on the other side of them for so long. They deserve to go through it a few more times.

I hope Brady, Belichick and their fans had a hard time sleeping last night.

I checked out Boston Bar Stool this morning.

The fan base is amazing, they don’t just complain, they act like it’s their right that every call go in their favor, and those that don’t, well they best be reviewed by a panel of referees, a couple of the original Apostles, and Vince Lombardi’s ghost.

Considering how many games the Cheatriots have won on phantom PI. Calls, I suggest they STFU!!!!!!!!!

AND all these patriot nut huggers in the media that are whining, you can also STFU, didn't here you bemoaning the bad calls that let the Cheatriots win.

This is weird to me because I'm not so sure I'd call it a cheap shot. I don't think he was trying to hurt him at all and it doesn't even look like he swung his leg that viciously. If anything, I'd say he was trying to make him trip. But that wouldn't be a cheap shot. And he did apologize after the game.

Damn, between this and the PI, I've defended the Pats way too much for my liking.

Right, I agree, but there's a big difference between that and a cheap shot. To me a cheap shot is purposely trying to injure someone. He wasn't trying to do that, IMO.
