Heat, Lakers, Thunder, Celtics, Magic, Bulls, Knicks, Nets
    Dolphins, Steelers,
    Yankees

Basketball seems to have the most potential dynasties with the ability of teams to sign mega free agents that have huge impacts every year. In football really the Steelers are the one team that looks dominat now but I do believe the Dolphins will be in the mix for the next five years so I included them :shifty:
Hockey doesnt seem to have a dynasty team right now in the works. And in baseball its pretty much the Yanks. So who will bag the most rings from now until 2015

I went with the Heat simply because I think it's easier to win championships in the NBA. The Lakers would probably be 2nd on my list.

agreed that its easier. sorry about excluding you guys. must be some kind of subconscious thing :shifty::lol::wink2: i excluded the heat because i think you're going to see a new super team added every year and i dont think they win this year

Where? With who? Carmelo Anthony looks like he’s going to the Nets when his contract is up, and Chris Paul is just as likely to stay in New Orleans as he is to go to NY, NJ, or ORL. What other combination of top ten players could emerge on one team?

I picked the Heat. Better chances than any other team on that list.

more than the yankees? Lee and Sabbathia is a helluva 1-2 combo. Add in the fact that Hughes seems to be coming into his own and maybe they even get petitte back?

It's fine, it doesn't bother me one bit.

The Braves had Maddux, Smoltz and Glavine all those years and only won 1 title. The Diamondbacks had Schilling and Johnson and only won 1. The Astros had Clemens, Pettitte and Oswalt and never won 1. The Cardinals have Carpenter and Wainwright and never won a title (when both were SPs) and didn't even make the playoffs this year.

Anything can happen in baseball and with a short series 1 mistake could cost you the series. A lot can happen. You're also assuming the Yankees get Lee (I think they will but they still have to sign him) and both CC and Lee will stay healthy and continue pitching at that high level. Personally if I were a Yankee fan I'd be worried about the team long term. They might be starting to show their age a bit. In 5 years a lot can happen.

Would I ever bet against the Yankees? No. But I also wouldn't bet on them for those reasons. Just way too many variables in the equation.

I think the Yankees might win two after this season and the Heat could win as many as six over the next seven or eight years.

No, the current baseball season doesn’t count toward the Yankees’ total, because we’re talking about future seasons, not ongoing seasons.

My starting point is the NBA 2010-11 season, the MLB 2011 season, and the NFL 2011 season. 2011-16, not 2010-15, is the timeframe I’m thinking of when I made that statement.

I think the Yankees win about two titles between 2011-16, the Dolphins win maybe one if Henne becomes what he’s supposed to be, and the Heat are looking at a realistic chance of winning three minimum.

 Well I'm predicting that the yankees win three, the heat win two and the dolphins....wait for it.....win three in a row - the first team to ever do so. it has to happen. three in a row would make up for the last forty years

We might NEVER see a team EVER win two super bowls in a row.

The NFL is too difficult to dominate.

MLB is so random that any one of a half dozen teams can get hot at the right time with a tough pitching staff and win a WS.

The Heat on the other hand has the fast track to the finals...they win at least 3 in the next 5 years...(remember that THIS will be the WORST Heat team for the next 5 years, they will add a MLE every year) The Lakers are on the decline...the Celtics are probably done.

The Heat is catching the NBA in transition...and could bend them over for a while.

There is also NO possibility of a super team being as good as the Heat super team.

The best one possible is a Paul, Melo, Amare trio in NYC....and even then the Heat would be better at ALL THREE positions.

    Heat. Easily.

There's less parity in Basketball than any other sport. The Yankees are probably second, but it's so difficult to win a WS in baseball, even with the highest payroll. There are so many other factors involved.

Throw the NFL teams out the window, because it's the hardest sport to repeat in IMO.

I know Lakers will be in the Finals in the upcoming season. They don't have much competition in the West. So they might complete their 3-peat. But for the long run, it all depends on Phil Jackson. I'll take the Lakers if Phil is staying for couple more years.

NY Yankees. Right now, they're in your home and laying on your couch.

Boston Celtics. I think this team has the most potential in the East in the upcoming years. Even though the "Big 3" are old, the Celtics have another "Big 3": Davis, Perkins, and Rondo.

For the Heat, I can't see them winning next year's Finals nor being there. The Heat is still missing pieces. They will past through the regular season. If Wade is ok(injury prone) for the play-offs, they might easily past the 1st round. The Heat has to worry about the Celtics. With that team, they'll be out-muscle by Shaq alone. And for the next 5-6 years, if Pat Riley doesn't make good signings/trades then we'll see the same underachieving Heat.

WTF are you talking about? LOL.

The Heat is missing "pieces". yeah, they can't have the eastern conference all-star team. Just 3/5ths of it.

    "Out muscled"?

Fat Shaq won't cross half court.

The hate is strong with this one, the delusion has taken over for many in the NBA.

Boston will be broken up after next season...much less making any 5 year runs.

LOL at "Other Big Three" of Perkins, Fat baby, and Rondo.

There was so much in that post that you can fill a thread dissecting it.

The Eastern Conference all-star team is "missing" pieces.

The Celtics do not match up. AT ALL.

    To Old and S.....L.....O.....W.

D-Wade ripped them a new one last year. What do you think he will do with "friends"?

The Lakers are the only hope for the haters.

they are the only team that can begin to matchup.
