Henne is terrible

I don't have anything against Henne, but everyone who wanted to throw him the keys is getting their wish. Who is the most popular player on every team? The backup QB. The problem is normally there is a reason he is the backup and not the starter.
It amazes me how people just want to hitch the Dolphins franchise to Henne, and if the FO drafts another QB then "it's a waste". Screw that, get as many good QB's as you can until you find the franchise QB.
#$#$#$&* I am pissed off and frustrated

I wish they would have been interested in a franchise QB when Matt Ryan was on the board. That's OK, they should have a top five pick again this year to take a shot with.
Well we will at least have some high draft picks in every round next year.. And boy, do the Dolphins ever need some added talent via the draft.
So it's a win-win situation with the higher picks in every round.... Because they weren't winning anything this year with this group.
That is for damn sure.....
Look at it like a blessing in disguise.... Okay, it's looking at the glass half full, I admit that.....But do we have any other choice with this bunch ?? I mean, Really ???
This team, the way it is constructed, had a 0% shot of even being 8-8 with this schedule. Last year was a TOTAL mirage when every single bounce went right for us... And those bounces went for us against some GOD AWFUL TERRIBLE teams, I mean TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE teams !!!!!!!
Our schedule last year was the easiest schedule of ANY NFL team in NFL history.. Yes, that's how pathetic and easy our schedule was...
We are now humbled... and we are now back down to earth.... Last year meant NOTHING... Absolutely NOTHING !!!! It was all a disguise that fooled every single one of you !!
All of you have been fooled and hoodwinked.
We should win one game. Good bit of talent on the roster to not win one or more games this year.

sheez. did you really expect coming in off the bench he was going to do better. typical rookie type stuff. if he does the same next week then bitch but at least let him get a week of practice with the first string team before you crucify the guy.
you act like we were going to win with pennington playing

He sucked, sucked the chrome off of a Harley Hog tailpipe sucked, this is the guy you've been waiting for?
Good God, it is one game. Can we at least let him play a full 4 quarters before we give up on him as the future at QB? The way you guys overreact is childish, and reminds me of why I left Finheaven. Maybe I should just stop coming to this site on Sundays.
Henne cost us 6 points. Pennington thew a pick 6 in ATL, fumbled in ATL, contributed to the fumble today on the 2. THere really wasn't that much of a difference today between the 2 guys, other than that Pennington attemped one pass over 15 yards, while Henne threw at least a couple.
i saw alot of people in the chat room be happy that henne came in. they never asked if penny was ok. but hey thats the nature of sports fans there are always people that need education
Well Ginn is capable od dropping passes from Henne too, another two to add to his stats today.

Typical kneejerk reaction...

I started the thread to crucify those who wished injury on our starting QB, not Henne

I was more pissed at him throwing to Ginn then I was the INT!:wink2:
It's one ****ing game. All of you need to calm down.

Ted Ginns stat 0 catches 2 dropped passes and a false start.
Yes his biggest mistake was counting on Ginn to move the chains multiple times. Everybody knows you go to Bess or Camarillo for that. Or Ronnie or Ricky.

Give them time to gel. Henne doesn't work with the first team often, if at all. It's a big transition going from Henne's rockets to Pennington's lofts.. I don't mean that in a joke, but seriously...
I am hoping Pennington doesn't miss more than a week though...

i thought we would have when penny went down it was close
a lot of you need to get a grip on things if you think what you saw of Henne today is what we will see from him down the road, this was FAR from the ideal situation you want to put in a young QB.

Of course I hope he is ok. Do I care if he plays next week? The answer is no, because our coaching staff will call the same BS calls with whoever is back there. We may be able to take `-1 more shots down field (over 15 yards), but the game plan will still be exactly the same IMO. Its our philosophy that is the problem IMO, not the QB. We are a boring, dull, dink and dunk offense, and that won't change with the QB.

If Ginn had more consistency catching Pennigton's passes or we were talking about any of the other WRs, I'd agree with you completley, but he has shown that he is uncapable of making the big plays (or even the little ones). I don't think the passer is the issue in the case of Ginn
