I have it set on the DVR so I can watch it when I get back from the gym... very excited to see this show back!

 

Back to back episodes. Joel Mchale is on one. I am real excited. Love Ryan Stiles.

 

The funny thing is, I am doing exactly the same thing. Got the DVR set, going to the gym, gunna shower, make dinner and laugh like I am in high school again at Ryan and Colin.

 

I still prefer the British original.

 

I am curious. Its the same format, some of the same comedians......what is it that makes you "prefer" that one to the states? It's improv comedy.....its never the same, so I don't understand how one can be better or vice versa. :confused1:

 

I loved Clive Anderson as a host (and hated Drew Carey). Also, I miss some of the games that were played only on the British show, like "Translation," "Authors" and "Here He Is Now." I also, by and large, prefer British comedians.

 

I am nervous about the new host.... Colin during his AMA on reddit yesterday said good things about her, but who knows. I never liked her on Talk Soup....hopefully she surprises me.

There was a review on the first three episodes by IGN saying the popular games were back, the chemistry was still good, and that Aisha Tyler was good as the host but didn't really break out of her shell until episode three.

 

I think she'll be the better of her & Drew.

Plus, I think she's smoking hot.

He was actually hilarious IMO. When he caught popcorn in his mouth from Ryan it was gold!!!

 

I pissed in my pants during that sideways skit tonight.

 

Yeah I don't think Maggie Q knew what to do during the scene where she was supposed to mouth what Colin was saying...but she was still 100x better than Layla Ali..

 

Wish they'd bring back the ho-down at the end. Reading the peoples names in different ways gets really old.

 

Oh man I forgot about the ho-downs. Those were always hilarious.

 

Gonna have to check this out. Loved this show back int he late 90s/early 2000s.
