This is what I don't get. If we're going to play Penny why not wait until Sunday to announce it. Henne and Penny have different styles and defences will play differently versus them
I just don't get why they needed to announce it today. This gives Tenn to change their whole defensive scheme for us

this was a great time.not alot going on today.wait till theres a ton of stuff going on saturday when your trying to get your team ready for a game the next day then a short week coming up with a game on thursday doesn't work either.tenn will have only 3 days to game plan for penny plus im sure alot of the schemes will change as well..we play differently when penny is in as far as playcalling goes.

I still think let Tenn think its Henne and then when word spreads about Penny taking first team reps they can change their game planning -
Because Tuesday is the teams day off and today and Thursday are the heavy practice days. I guess its kinda good your choice of starting QBs worked with the ones today of which the press and media is there when practice ends and would find out anyway.

The media is at Tues and Wed Practices. The entire free world would know one half a millisecond after Penny took snaps with the ones anyways.

Doing this, Allen, and the Al Harris thing all in one day says 100% to me that this is a move from Ownership. Sparano got told to make drastic changes, and assure a win, and that 0-4 @ home is absolutely unacceptable if he wants to keep his job.
He did everything within his power to try to prevent that. I just worry that he did that at the cost of our longevity.
