from what i have been hearing he is one of the leading candidates for OC when tony sparono is hired. Im not too familiar with him but looking at his track record, it hasnt impressed me much. so if you think he is the guy for miami's OC job then convince me why?
I'm not and I'm a person. With that said I think I have no Idea who we should hire. No one is going to excite me.
i use to like that option but after what ive read about his last few day and how noone got along with him, i dont see them even considering him
Well, if you is looking at his track record alone I'm surprised you're not at least kind of impressed. From 93-96 he was a position coach at NE under Parcells. He was QB coach in 96; working with Bledsoe the year they went to the SB. For the 97 and 98 seasons he was OC for the Jags. They improved from a 9-7 season in 96 and had back to back 11-4 seasons. He was the Cowboys' QB coach in 06 helping to develop Romo. This past year he has been the Giants' QB coach and wonder of wonders they are on there way to the NFCC game with Manning leading the way. Now he was MUCH less successful as the expansion Browns' HC. A pretty tough gig for anyone, though. Neither was he very successful as the Texans' OC under Capers. But if you're looking at his entire body of work. He's done well when the talent has been there and not so well when the talent has been lacking. Pretty much the same as anyone else would do.
hows this.. Maybe we should hire Cam as our OC then lure him in here and light his shorts up in a bonfire while he hums the tune to "loser" by Beck...jk
