I’d like to take the bet but that would mean you be here constantly spewing garbage about him without any ****ing context
Make it both of us, let’s see if he puts his money where his mouth is ?? Maybe the guy who started this thread can help him out
A serious bet would be for each side to accept the other side's view of Tua from that point onwards. To simplify: - If Tua supporters lose the bet (if Tua does not officially start at least 11 regular season games in 2023), then they publicly agree that Tua is not good enough to be our franchise QB and that we should look for another QB. - If Tua detractors lose the bet (if Tua officially starts 11 or more regular season games in 2023), then they publicly agree that Tua is good enough to be our franchise QB and that we should call off any search for a replacement until he can no longer start at least 11 regular season games in a season. I'd take that bet for sure, because if Tua can't start 11+ games I don't want him as our QB.
It was a follow up to this tweet, in which Tyreek was advising small receivers to get down and protect themselves when running certain routes. Both tweets were posted within an hour of each other. It's all so exhausting.
Ignore the trolls, if they are baiting with crap like that Vid screw them, like we all knows Tyreek was t throwing shade at Tua except the troll thought he could slip it in
It's all extrapolation. Sometimes players are just sitting around and casually using social media with not much deeper thought or ulterior motive. Whether you're pro- or anti-Tua, we all need to step back and refrain from hyperanalyzing every single message that gets sent out across these platforms. I don't understand how people can do that. I also blame the athletes as well- you can't go from sending cryptic things with a lot of magnitude to casually posting stream-of-consciousness without the expectation that fans are crazy and are going to analyze every letter that comes through. We need to do better at becoming more literate with social media and online content, and not so reactive.
Bingo. Tua suffered a career-ending type injury in college, yet entered the draft. Suffered a couple concussions last year, but will be playing for the Dolphins this season. Hard to qualify something as career-ending until.. ya know, you actually decide to retire/end your career because of the corresponding injury.
So Burrow is in the same boat? By his own admission he has had a lot. It's just Tua had the real bad one and became the NFL poster boy. So now everyone think the kid is going to die.
Maybe? Depends how destabilizing it is for the player. After a few days of the media questioning whether Tua had a concussion in Buffalo then went into a nationally televised game and had a cringy fencing response and needed to be carried off on a stretcher. Then had another that knocked him out for the season. It's for good reason Tua is the poster boy.
Considering that multiple independent Dr's has said he is no more susceptible than any other player it is a mute point. My point was bring that same energy for Burrow, Diggs, the Steelers QB and anyone else who has had multiple concussions. If your not going to do that then honestly you need to be quiet about it because you are just being a hypocritical.
First off, the word is moot. Did Burrow need to get carried off in a stretcher? Not all concussions are created equal. Additionally, why would I bring the same energy? Is this a Bengals forum? Or Bills or Steelers? Who cares about their QBs, or receivers?
That’s the point that gets glossed over by the “concussion injury risk” guys. Reality is that Tua has been examined by multiple specialists who have agreed that he’s no more at risk than any other player. If you keep saying he’s more at risk and you aren’t a neurologist who examined Tua then you’re talking out you arse.
Because it makes you look like a hypocrite that's why. It's ok though keep doing it , I'm done with this nonsense. The kid could be perfect year and it's "fans" like you that would still move the goal post and find something to complain about. Oh and yes im very aware that it's moot, but apparently my phone didn't.
