I been trying to find pictures or our guys in aqua jerseys this year and i have yet to see the aqua jerseys worn this year , why is the dolphins becoming so dull and so afraid to use the aqua and orange uniforms. i wish the nfl would force the fin to wear the aqua jerseys more. this season I have yet to see any fan post a player in aqua on here or on the internet. I am sorry but i have had more than a belly full of all white i need some orange to add some color to my walls which is all white . I love the aqua uniforms especially on days like today .
in fact I wish a guy like Like Lamar Thomas or Channing Crowder or even Terrelll Buckley would run for president and the first thing they would do is paint the white House purple or Aqua just for some changes.
todays win was good but hell we nearly gave the game away. This team seriously needs to get some imagination and rebuild the image to clean out this parcells Ireland , sparano error or era .
Also I am trying to collect images of our players in the oranges uniforms as well as the aqua ones to add something to these deary walls .

Oh no not again. Will we be getting another apology?

Miami has always traditionally worn white over white for afternoon home games for pretty much the entire length of our history. Also, since at least the JJ era and uniform redesign in 96 we have worn white over aqua pants for road games. The aqua jerseys are only really ever used in night games, late season late afternoon kickoffs (though I haven't seen that in a while), or against teams that also wear white at home (ala the Cowboys).
It's not a Parcells/Ireland/Sparano thing.Mile High Fin, PhinGeneral and Trowa like this. -
The home team picks the unis. So we usually can't wear aqua on the road.
At home, we generally force the visiting team to wear darker colors for the sun disadvantage.
So it's pretty much prime time home games.Mile High Fin likes this. -
the road pants are real bad. i bring it pretty much every time, but they still bother me. it needs an update. I don't want anything too drastic, but the colors can be modernized. They have been changed before, so there is nothing sacred here. At least take the Shine off away pants.
The all white afternoon look should stay, imo. They look great in the Miami sun and with some dirt or grass stains on them.
I like the aqua top, but as said, we really don't see it that often. I think it looks better at night than during the day.Nappy Roots and djphinfan like this. -
Agree. I can't stand the thick stripes, the navy blue, and the shiny aqua pants. They look horrible.
-
To further illustrate just how ridiculous the "7 stripes" looks.....
IMO....eliminate the navy. Eliminate the aqua stripe (the pants are aqua...you don't need it it in the stripe as well). Go with a thin orange stripe with white on both sides. Done. HUGE improvement. -
It's really not that big of a deal to me. I'd like to see Miami wear it's classic uniforms once a year. Other than that, I could give two craps.

not that any of this matters...i like the orange truth be told, just like UM...with Nike taking over next year, maybe we'll see a change...i'd like to see a navy or orange jersey with the standard white on white...and change the face mask to grey...i know that teal is the team color, but i'd like to see it used as more of an accent color as opposed to the primary jersey color...just me...in the end it doesn't matter...win and nobody care...although when you're losing and wearing aqua you look extra ridiculous
