I have to agree. I tried hard as Ed O Neill will forever be known for his Al Bundy role on Married with Children but really this show just tries too hard. Its like the annoying kid in school who will do whatever so you will talk to them. :wink2:

 

I watched half of last season and thought that was enough. I can't really stand the characters. Some of the situations they put themselves in are pretty ridiculous. Like when the Gay couple was locked outside of the garage and was flipping all the switches and wrecked the car, or when they were getting ready to go to Hawaii(?) for a birthday the whole fiasco of that took place in that episode was stupid. There is more but I doubt you will think the same.

 

Breaking Bad...

Modern Family is pretty damn funny, though. Much better than The Middle or Cougar Town...:up:

 

To be fair its your own fault for watching ABC and expecting something funny or good. They havent had a funny or good show ummm ever (in my opinion of course). Well aside from Monday Night Football which isnt even there's anymore... :lol:

 

Big Bang Theory, Chuck, The Office, and giving Outsourced a try.

 

Oh The Office is RIDICULOUS but it has great characters. Sometimes they really go overboard but they have a strong cast can't say the same of Modern Family. I tried watching Modern Family again but I couldn't sit through it. I guess its because I'm not a huge fan of the characters.

 

Was tonight's Modern Family any good? I was too distracted to pay attention to the episode....JESUS! Sofia Vergara looked amazing.

 

Best comedy show by far goes to It's Always Sunny..., but this is really good for network tv, and I enjoy it :)

 

I like Sunny but it is hard to be the best show on TV when the show following you is funnier week in and week out(besides the Halloween episode).

 

I love The League too, but still think It's Sunny... is slightly funnier, but it's really a toss-up. :yes:

 

This is a very promising comedy it makes me laugh every week. It reminds me of The Office and Arrested Development.

 

Baby cheeses / baby jesus .... hilarious .

 

They have great characters. Phil and Cam are some of the best characters on TV. Manny too.

 

Only comedy's I'm watching are Community and Brooklyn Nine Nine.

yes. cam is probably better than all our lineman, plus he is funny as hell.
