The wife of pitcher Scott Schoenweis of the Arizona Diamondbacks was found dead by her 14 year old daughter.

Worst possible scenario for all concerned...horrific event in that family's life.....sad.

Scott was informed, according to the Marlins announcers in the 2nd inning of the 1st game of todays double-header here in Miami. He left the team immediately, to return to Arizona.

I heard about this before but didn't know the 14 year old daughter is the one who found her. That's awful, just awful and had to make it even worse. My prayers are with the family.
