Wii HD 2011

How a system sells so well (guilty as charged, i have one) with a total of 5 games worth a crap is beyond me.

 

The same reason G rated movies are always #1 at the box office, its the kiddies.

 

That about sums it up. Took em long enough for HD visuals because my PS2 has better graphics. I just think the Wii's motion sensing is a gimmick that lasts about 2-3 drunken parties before it gets old. Pretty much just sell the console to a neighbor, come by to play once in a while and you pretty much get the same thing as owning the console yourself.

 

I have one, but I bought mine used (just like every game except for Okami and the Wii Fit application; it's not a game damn it! lol).

 

Wii 1.5 in other words or the PSone or PS2 slim.

 

I've got one, and the only thing I hate about it is the controllers drink batteries. I'd play mine a lot more if I didn't have to go get batteries everytime.

 

Yea rechargable controllers would be nice. I like the Wii a lot but it does needa lot more games. The graphics on some of the games are just well..bad.

 

And their third party support has been noted to be horrendous.

 

I bought one because the g/f wanted it. It actually got a ton of play until she bought me a PS3. Even she stopped using it, she only plays the PS3 now. The only time the Wii gets used now is when we have friends over and we play drunk bowling.

 

I have always wanted one, but seeing this, I might as well wait for the next generation since it is close enough at this point.

Looks like stupid, boring Xbox360 until then....

 

I have all 3 consoles and Play the ps3 the most, the 360 sometimes, and the Wii hasn't turned on in months. And it was free from my GF because it wasn't being played at her house.

 

I've considered doing that but I don't want another piece of electronics in my living room
