Not sure if it was posted already, didn't see it.

Not sure how much of that is fact or not. But it was on Tim Graham's blog, and he seems like he doesn't post much from the gossip mill.
Didn't get to watch the video, at work :(

All of these players want to talk to us and play for us, our FO has got to go get a few of these guys. Vince Wilfork in between Randy Starks and Kendall Langford and Karlos Dansby behind them? I'm trying REALLY hard not to get my hopes up.
P.S. Is this considered tampering? :shifty:skippysphins, Disnardo, Whitedolphin54 and 1 other person like this. -
Sounds good, if he runs up the price for the Patriots.

Under this scenario, I don't think that handing a boatload of cash to a NT, who will undoubtedly come off the field in passing situations, is going to return the maximum benefit for this franchise in 2010 (especially when you consider what we currently have in Soliai) that might be achieved by spending that money elsewhere.
Just my two cents. -
got a feeling he'll come to Miami

Crowder and McClain behind Wilfork would set our entire defense up perfectly.LandShark13 likes this. -
I am hoping he comes here but I'm not going to get my hopes up

That's not to say I don't value the NT position or the player Wilfork has developed into. It just means that in relation to some other positions on defense, our situation at NT isn't exactly "dire".Rocky Raccoon likes this. -
He wants to talk to us.
I can go even further and tell you what he is going to ask:
"How much are you going to pay me?"Dol-Fan Dupree likes this. -
I wonder what happened since he was drafted. I remember him saying he hated the Dolphins and was happy they didn't draft him.

I would like him here if he does a 3 month stint at Jenny Craig and dropped the extra 40 pounds he is carrying. -

Don't want him don't need him, let New England take the financial hit.

Vince Wilfork takes ****s that weigh 325 pounds.Springveldt, MrClean, Section126 and 1 other person like this. -

Dansby and Wilfork in the middle would go a long way towards giving us a great middle core to our defense against the run. Folks would be fearful of running there. The cost would be a little high, but considering what we've paid WR Wilford and Gibril Wilson I'd happily pay more for guys that are almost a sure bet to step in and make us better. Spending big bucks on "potential" guys hasnt worked out. I'd rather go with proven studs.

I really hope that Ferguson comes back for one more go and we can draft a young guy behind him for him to groom, because unlike a few posters here, I don't think we have much in Soliai. For a big guy, he really gets moved around pretty easily. -
The Pats would be stupid not to Franchise him in a non-cap year. Although in fairness they're going to probably shoot themselves in the foot, because as upset as he's going to be about that whole Franchise tag, he likely will not play 100%. If he did, I'd be insanely impressed with him.

Its ironic that two players we SHOULD have drafted ,Boldin and Wilfork now want to come home.

This has been one of the worst drafting franchises since 2000. Only since Parcells and Co. arrived has there been any real gameplan on how we were going to draft, how we were going to build this team.CrunchTime likes this. -
For some reason I glanced too fast at the thread title and thought of Ernest Wilford...aaaaaarrrghhh was my reaction. Glad to see it was for Wilfork.
-
We should be hoping that Wilfork either signs with us or leaves the division. -
-
If we could add Wilfork to the front line, and somehow get Griffen and/or Spikes, I think this offseason could be considered highly successful.
-
We should be able to sign 1 of the 2, along with a top tier free agent wide receiver..Then go one two in the draft with 2 more players for both units..
Anquan..Karlos..Brandon..Gronkowski....or something like that..
4 players..2 units in desperate need of talent..2 vehicles {draft, free agency}, you wind up with 4 players that have close to 1st round grade....ive said it a 100 times..
