I was the only one that I know of that had brought up the scenario that we would draft Ryan and trade Beck but I was just reading an interview by Frank Coyle and Packers fans and he suggested the same possibility. Its only speculation on his part and its just one sentence but the guy does have good contacts in the NFL. Here is the sentence

No need to panic over a QB Rodgers should be fine. Several young vets are on the trading block Simms, Losman and maybe Beck.

What?!?! How could we trade the guy. We just burned a 2nd rounder on him last year, we haven't even given him a real fair shot at the job. I can't see this actually happening. Interesting... but I just cant realistically see it happening. Id be in total shock if it did

who the F would trade anything for beck that it would be worth it at this point? doesn't make a whole lotta sense to me . especially since the coaching staff has been working so closely with him over the off-season.
and Malcolm Kelly is the only good pick of those 3 . -
Cameron is the Ravens coordinator and they need a QB. Beck is more familiar with his sytem than anyone else on the Ravens roster

What reason would the Ravens have to believe Beck is any better than Troy Smith? I mean look at the numbers and Smith looked like a better QB than Beck. Not saying Smith WILL be better but I doubt the Ravens are looking to give up on Smith for a guy who played worse. -

He loves Matt Ryan and thinks Miami should select him, therefore he brings up that they'll trade John Beck to make his proposition make sense... Tsk tsk. -
