He needs 1041 yards to get there. Thats 130 per game. He's currently averaging 119 per game. But he's averaging 164 ypg in his last 3. If he get's a few more big weeks of 175+, he could do it.
Will Chris Johnson rush for 2000 yards this season?

I'd say no, I don't think he can do it. But if he does, I won't be complaining. Hooray for fantasy points

He is better than Adrian Peterson this season thats for sure. Although I think teams are stacking the box every game and wanting Favre to beat them.
Also I think when Adrian put on that 10 pounds it hurt his burst. -
Is Chris Johnson on your fantasy team? :shifty:
-
only one of them.

That was one of his off-season goals. I don't know if he put on what he wanted to he wanted to add 15. Not 100% if he added the weight or not.

Do the math on what he will need to average after our run defense holds him to 45 yards, redo the average and go from there.

I wish. I have a strong feeling he's going to gash us for a good 150 yards on the ground at least.
-
As of now he needs 758 yards in 6 games. Which is still 126.3 per game. I don't know if he'll get it but its going to be damn close.
-
the last time he didnt get 126 yards was week 5.
-
He only needs 604 more yards. 120.8 per game from here on out. I said he would get it 3 weeks ago. Since then, he has ran for 437 yards in 3 games. He is on pace for 2030 yards on the year.
He has averaged 160 yards while Vince Young has been starting. If he maintains that pace, he will get 2196 yards. He is on pace for the Hall of Fame.2k5 likes this. -
He breaks it barring injuries.

Chris Johnson is absolutely amazing. Seems every week he breaks an 80 yard run. I can't remember the last time we had an 80 yard run. Him and Vince Young almost make me want to be a Titans fan, they are so cool. Almost.
