Well with the Laptop when I try to connect to my router it ask for a password. I can only assume its the Key they gave me, I enter it and it says unable to connect. I really have no clue what I'm doing. Its my first time hooking up a Wireless router.

okay lets see have you set up your network to be secure...if so it is asking for your WEP (probably) key.

Also what is the brand of router.

First thing and it's not a dumb question, but are you sure that your laptop has a wireless card and is your wireless on? You wouldn't believe how many times I've seen people just assume that their laptop is wireless or forget to turn it on. :wink2:

The password is one of the numbers on the barcode of the router....not sure which one. Which ever one is the right amount of numbers. At least that's how it was for mine

Well I do have another question.

My PC when shut down and turned on takes 30-45 mins for anything to show up on the screen. Now Ive left it on for a week seeing how I waited long and longer for it to come on. It seems its either the Monitor but it sounds like the Video card.

Best tip is to clear out all the porn...it helps trust me. :shifty:

Seriously though does it sound like its loading?

Has it started making any weird noises while loading?

well i gotta go to bed but if you aren't seeing a load up screen and when it does turn on you are at the login screen then it might be your monitor. But thats kind of odd its not getting scrambled. If it takes along time to load up at all, then that might be something else.
