I have no faith in Teddy.
His arm strength is extremely limited, and he's slow to react.
He was never a great QB, and now that he's getting older it seems like he doesn't care quite as much when he's out there.
If Tua were healthy, even if the rest of the team didn't improve by all that much (and I still hope that they do), I'd say we should absolutely go no worse than 5-2 over the next seven games.
We would be the favorite in all of them.
If he's out for weeks or months, then I say that those same seven games are a coin flip, and that the games against better teams at the latter part of the schedule are virtually impossible.
The run game is unfortunately inconsistent at best, and probably pretty weak most games.
The defense already had holes, and now if Howard is also out for who knows how long, we're in big trouble.
You can't win games with a backup QB, a weak run game, an injured secondary, and a LB corps that needs to be replaced.
Hill and Waddle become far less effective.
