Using a formula that takes into account customer satisfaction, resale value, fuel efficiency and other factors, this study identified pretty accurately the bloat and lack of quality - in fact, the seeming total disregard for real market factors - that has America's once-proud auto industry in bankruptcy.
thats the reason for going chevy with the truck i have now. last 3 trucks have been dodge diesels. got wise and went to a chevy lot and got educated real fast. the silverado was 14k less than the comparable 2500 ram.
I'm a bit surprised to see that. I don't really think that was Chrysler's biggest problem though. That company went down the tubes as soon as the Germans took over. The takeover by Daimler is what really triggered the Chrysler downfall IMO.
I own a Dodge Nitro..... I dare anyone to say that I didn;t get a good deal on it. I love it BTW. bad *** midsized SUV. just badass.
I've been driving a Dodge Dakota I bought brand new in 99 for the past ten years. I love it and have never had a significant problem. That being said Ford has always been my favorite American automaker.
