Not usually a fan of New Belgiam beer. Fat Tire is...okay...but, stumbled upon a seasonal, and it is "Delectable". http://www.newbelgium.com/beer/hoptober Anybody else sipping on some tasty barley pops tonight?
nothing special, but iam chugging down some brews tonight ken....miss you on here. Have a great weekend my friend
Not drinking tonight, but I put down a bunch of Spaten Oktoberfest's last night playing pool. I also had a local IPA, which is quickly becoming one of my favorites: http://www.captainlawrencebrewing.com/captains_reserve_imperial_IPA It is heavenly. Their other beer I *love* is the smoked porter. Holy sh!t is that one good. Probably the best porter I have ever had.
Hell yes when you are looking to get loaded do it cheap. What am I gonna put down a case of Guinness.... nope.
Really? I have a 12 of Hoptober fest, only to be followed by a Samual Smith's Taddy porter, and if I'm still not "There", I have 8 Guiness Draught 16 ozers. Right now, I am REALLY enjoying the hoppy beer..but I do say, it is really giving me a Flatulant effect
Sometimes I wish I did. The Harpoon Leviathan IPA that I like is around $14 for a 4 pack. Thankfully they are over 10% ABV, so it's like drinking 8 regular beers
it has to be done. ive downed 7 keystones, and im feeling "good"......for the same price, i coulda got 6 "quality" beers and id be sober as a whistle. like you said....quantity over quality
Thank God! It's not just me. Not only does it make me fart, they smell like something you'd find dead in the back of a garbage truck. Sam Smith - awesome. Love their oatmeal stout.
Theres a Micro brewery I visited near Oneida lake that was very very entertaining. Dont remember the name...actually, dont remember very much to be honest.
Guniness is like the light beer of stouts. I love it, but there are much better stouts out there. And when I want to get loaded, I break out the scotch.
When I break out the big boy booze that is when it is time to get arrested. That is why I drink beer....
Yep, I toggled between the OS and the TP. I opted for the TP as it is the only beer I can find that reminds me of Watneys Cream Stout.... RIP
Uhhhmm... No. That isnt anywhere NEAR Oneida lake I honestly dont remember. Love that part of the Country. Stayed in Alexandria Bay for a couple of days. BEEEutiful!!!!
just got back from st. pete oktoberfest. 35+ vendors, unlimited samples. there was a band called the fallopian tubes lol im pretty banged up right now lol. i sampled everyone at least once. guinness has a new stout i didnt know about. its 7.5% alc. or something. i didnt really care for it. had a very smokey taste
By blue collar you mean??? I've drinkin MANY "Blue Collar" beers: Pabst blue ribbon Olympia Bush Pearl Old Milwauakee Milwuakees best Shlitz (Any!!!) Buckhorn Somebody help me out here. Just like anything in life, you have to earn the taste of a good beer!
Bc nobody in Mexico ever uses a lime for any alcoholic endeavores? The orange actually adds very little to it.
Oh, btw, mexican beer is made from **** water...and they have to add lime to cover the smell. Ever been there?
No. Was referring more to Tequila but whatever floats your boat. And I've also had a Heineken without visiting the Netherlands, so go figure.
Good enough, cause the quality control of ANYTHING coming out of Mexico is exactly....well.....ZERO. Our GOVT doesnt want to F-with it. Their's doesnt either...so, they sell us whatever keeps us happy. If its Tequilla or Mexican Beer, more power to you
lol Girly beers? Guess I'm too secure with my masculinity to be as concerned. I'm sorry, but nobody buys a nascar tire-shaped case of Natty Lt bc of the amazing taste.
eh, its begian style wheat. really not that bad. i dont prefer that type anyways heck, michelob makes pretty decent "craft" beers at a really reasonable price blue moons seasonal varieties are also very good. the huge brewhouses can make quality when they want to. heck, the fact that a bud from 20 years would taste the same as one make today is no easy feet. a couple of years ago bud did a "same day" promotion where they were sampling beer that was made on that day. i have to say, it was really really good
