Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh sees plenty of reason for optimism this year.
First, he’s a fan of new coach Adam Gase. But he also remembers the thrashing they gave the league’s best offense last year, filing that away for future reference.
The Dolphins held joint practices with the eventual NFC champion Panthers last summer, and the practices were intense enough that the Panthers reportedly asked the Dolphins to dial it back the next day so they could work on their pass protection.
“There was a team in the championship that we destroyed in camp,” Suh said, via David Neal of the Miami Herald. “But it doesn’t matter what you do in camp. It matters what you do through 17 weeks during the year.”
“I love coach Gase,” Suh said. “In my short interactions with him, he’s a great coach. He’s very fiery and competitive. He was talking about my weight the other day and said, ‘I see you’re at only 17 percent body fat. I thought you’d be better than that.’ Things like that. Him being nagging, at the same time having fun with it.”
well, if he's keeping it as the kids say ''100'' then thats a pretty cool sign..I dont think Suh is an easy man to win over and I dont believe many can get the best out of him..if he respects Gase like this, then its a great sign..
now lets just build a dominating defense behind this guy and let him piss all over the NFL.

Headcoach material wouldn’t want to work somewhere they’re not trusted with actual football decisions.

yeah I know, I mean he may be a pain in the ass to deal with, but he's ours, and he is a dominant player..weve invested the money into this franchise player, time to do something about it.

The offseason is always a time of love and praise in the Dolphin organization. Obviously it is better to see Suh responding positively toward the new head coach at this time. But he was positive after signing with the Dolphins last season. He even stated in training camp last year that the Dolphins defense had better players than the # 1 ranked Lions defense did in 2014.
Hopefully by this time next year, Suh and the other players are still singing Gase's praises. It all appears great right now, but I will wait to see the product on the field for an entire season before I jump on the Gase bandwagon.

Well Gase is already showing himself to be smarter than Philbin if he's working on getting Suh on board right away. We need Suh to be great here and we need to build the defense around him and Jones.
