WQAM just announced that Sunday they will cover the opening of the first Training Camp session, which should be interesting. And 'Nando and Omar K have also offered live Twitter updates with their version of what they are seeing out on the practice field. http://www.wqam.com/index.php?page=1&sid=6f0cukn1nlmlrusor7jq1d4a0lpl772r http://twitter.com/ArmandoSalGuero http://twitter.com/OmarKelly
Using firefox and I can't seem to get the feed. Could somone post a direct link to the feed? (Not the listen live page )Thanks in advance!
http://www.wqam.com/streamer/index.php?displaystreamer=true Thats the pop up address i got with the feed.
Apparently, there will be no "tweeting" from media nor fans from practice. There's no way to police the information coming from all directions. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. www.twitter.com/ethanjskolnick Edit: Via Omar Kelly's twitter: Dolphins practice is about to start and not only will there be tweets, but depth charts and other goodies at our blog. http://bit.ly/b8FNh www.twitter.com/OmarKelly
Omar has the Depth Chart up on his blog: http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sport...08/updated-dolphins-depth-chart.html#comments And it is sort of funny, the bloggers cannot (or are not supposed to) Tweet, yet there is a live radio broadcast? That bit about following Skolnick around is funny.
Noteworthy: Shawn Murphy is working with the first team, Ndukwe is second. Matt Roth is not practicing, running on the sidelines, out with injury. Somebody is calling in repping Miami Mike's in New Jersey.
I think it's funny that the media isn't supposed to be tweeting, but I keep getting updates via Twitter. Talk about a policy that's impossible to enforce. New tech media defeats old school front office mentality, I guess.
anytime bro, glad I could help! The only problem with that app is that you can't listen to the feed and check twitter at the same time on the iphone... you're essentially locked into the app. I originally got the app because I heard you could listen to Howard Stern, but I think Sirius stopped their regular members from accessing thru Pocket Tunes because they want people to use their own App, which costs...
Twitter is a gold mine for things like that, RW has had a full year back in the NFL, whatever he has left in the tank will come out this season. A maxxed out RW and a Ronnie B fully recovered from an ACL will be blast to watch this season.
ArmandoSalguero Dropped pass by Ted Ginn. Jeers from the crowd. EthanJSkolnick Nice grab by Ginn. Seems like Ginn is getting a lot of looks.
Looks like the biggest news is Matt Roth not participating on the field, but he is doing running on the side. Donald Thomas is in full pads, but only doing individual drills.
This may be wishful thinking phinnhedd, but I think the 1 full year in the strength program will make a huge difference, especially in talent evaluations. If a player spends a full year pumping iron and all the things the Staff demands of them, and they cannot show up on the field, they are more than likely cut worthy, but we will "know" that even at their physical peak, they couldn't cut the mustard in Miami. To me that means we don't see our guys showing up on other teams and starring.
funny how those two writers write opposite things... obviously talking about different plays but still.
We have two Pro Bowl runningbacks on our roster. *giddy* EthanJSkolnick Fans yelling "Pro Bowl" to Ronnie. He and Ricky both looked back and smiled.
