Forget about matt Jones as a possible free agent, he was just caught with blow, admitted it: FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Matt Jones faces a felony drug charge in his former college town after police say officers found him cutting up cocaine with a credit card Thursday morning. The 25-year-old Jones and two other former Arkansas football players were inside a Toyota SUV in Fayetteville just after 12:40 a.m. Thursday when officers approached. Officers saw a card covered in a white powder in Jones' lap as he used a credit card to scrape it, a police report said. Jones, 25-year-old Jared Hicks and 26-year-old Benjamin Cook were arrested. Officers say they searched the vehicle and found a plastic bag filled with a white substance that tested positive for cocaine and a jar with possible marijuana residue. Yeah, especially when he's looking at the possibility of testing the FA market. He'll get released, fined, and suspended. All for doing some blow in a van in a parking lot at 1:00 in the morning. What a dope, for sure.
Hes an idiot for sure, but Im not so sure they can charge him the with "residue" on the bags and jar, but theyll have charge him for the actual cocaine amount they found.

Jones will be expendable for the sole reason that Troy Williamson is lighting up camp right now with good hands and speed. Yeah, he's 25 years old. He still has a chance to somewhat revive his career. He certainly won't live up to his billing. Some people say they're not surprised because he is a 'mellow' type of guy.

I always assumed he was a pot head. I mean, his demeanor and his appearance lend himself to that. Plus I guess it takes one to know one. But coke? I never would have guessed. Maybe that's why his face was always so red.
