Third of my Yahoo teams. Standard 10 man league (1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Def):

    QB - Favre, Cutler
RB - Westbrook, Lewis, James, Williams
WR - Owens, Fitzgerald, Williams, Harrison, Burleson
    TE - Shockey, Crumpler
    K - Crosby
    DEF - Pittsburgh

    1. (4) Brian Westbrook RB
    2. (17) Terrell Owens WR
    3. (24) Larry Fitzgerald WR
    4. (37) Jamal Lewis RB
    5. (44) Roy Williams WR
    6. (57) Marvin Harrison WR
    7. (64) Brett Favre QB
    8. (77) Edgerrin James RB
    9. (84) Jeremy Shockey TE
    10. (97) Alge Crumpler TE
    11. (104) Jay Cutler QB
    12. (117) Nate Burleson WR
    13. (124) Pittsburgh DEF
    14. (137) Ricky Williams RB
    15. (144) Mason Crosby K

Kurt Warner and Chris Perry were undrafted. Think I should pick any of em up? I had a few qualms about drafting defense higher than I wanted to but I didn't think there much better options at that point. Any other thoughts?

If anything my friend go straight after Perry. Warner you can wait on just a bit, but if Johnson is traded you've got arguably your second best RB. He's that important. I would ditch your kicker until the situation is resolved. I can't believe that James and Lewis lasted as they did however. Both are legitimate high carry RBs. Burleson was a steal.

I did not like your Harrison pick and Roy Williams pick too much but they were decent picks. Just not overwhelmingly good.

For Warner you'd have to ditch the defense or your last pick.

Great draft though, really I mean it, it's damn good.

By the way Reagan are you going to the Tenn. game next week?

I guess so. Still a lot of good kickers I guess so I can afford to put a waiver on Perry using Crosby. Drafted 4th and I get 7th on waivers so I'll have to wait and see. In the chat a lot of managers were worried about Hightower and the Browns preseason slump but I thought that was stupid.

For fifth and sixth rounders, I thought they were steals at least in Roy's case. And it does double damage because now every team but my own has WR issues.

As for the Tenn game, I'm planning on it but I've still yet to test whether I can still get student prices as an alumni. If not, I'd have to ask someone in my group to get it for me. Thankfully it's a holiday because I got jury duty the following day. How bout you?

Ooooh, I'm not sure about that.

I'll be sitting in the regular sections this time around as I have a very good friend who bought season tickets. No Den for me...

If you do decide to come, PM me.

Going to be one hell of a game to try to win.

Sure thing. Jury duty summons really f'ed up my sched so things are getting thrown around to point where I might even have to miss it. Really hope not to but we'll see.

It's going to be a pretty tough game for UCLA. OL play hasn't been good, Craft is untested, and defense has to make up for the loss of Davis and some fine safeties.

The only good thing is that we're quite a bit more talented than last year. The defense doesn't scare me as much as the offense does.

Yea, defense is still solid though not as good as before. Offense, we're really gonna lean on Bell.

What's your take on Perry if Rudi truly is gone?

Do you see him as a 20 carry per game guy, with say 1280 yards rushing, 350 receiving yards, 9 TDs guy?

Even if Perry truly wins the job, I still envision him sharing catches with Kenny Watson, who filled in admirably for Rudi. Watson's a good back and I think there's a great chance it'll be 15-15. 1000+ yards and 6-7 TD's with 300 receiving yards should sound about right if Rudi's gone and Watson doesn't take too many reps.
