Scratch the "no 4th quarter come from behind wins" off the list. He did throw 2 ints and made numerous bad throws. sent from my EVO 4G
yeah but at least they're using up all their luck early in the year. they should be running on empty in the luck department once they reach the playoffs
I'm scared of the Jets. Damn lucky team and those Freeagents they got in the offseason. works for the Jets and not the Skins. Lt, Cromartie look in form.
Listen without getting anyone upset here lets call it as it is.. The Leauge so WANTS Sanchez to be a star they are doing everything they can to make that happen. They are trying to promote the NFL to other places and a Hispanic QB that is good is exactly what they want to promote. Listen Im not saying he ISNT good. He is doing pretty good, but they are acting like hes the Second Coming out there. They are PUSHING the JETS as an example for Hispanics. If The Dolphins would have singed him the same thing would have happened however in NY everything gets Magnified. PS the JETS are the luckiest team so far this year all the calls go their way.
I guess if you're a good looking QB the officials will always find ways to help your team win. That was a trivial PI call at best. I hate it when games are won by PI. Now future hall of famer Hot Dog Sanchez will get all the credit for that win when half of that drive was produced by a penalty. If stupid*** Renaldo Hill keeps his finger off of the facemask the Broncos win that one.
Are you crazy!?! Playoffs!?!?!?! Do not give them that! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qwq7BYOnDrM&feature=related"]YouTube - Jim Mora Playoffs ! ? Long Version[/ame]
Actually, he brought them back twice in the 4th quarter, but haters are going to hate. No one said he carried the team on his back, but how many times have we read "Sanchez has never brought his team from behind in the 4th quarter"? Now that he did (twice), I'm not going to apologize for it If Holmes doesn't get pulled down by his face mask, there is a good chance he catches that ball. There is no question that was PI. None. You know what Sanchez said after he game (and I paraphrase)? "I played terrible and put my team in a hole. I made a ton of mistakes and thankfully the defense bailed me out. I was awful." But he has the rap of being cocky. This was a huge win for the Jets.
You get my vote of most ignorant post since I've joined and with the Jets poster, Darelle Revis, around, that is quite a compliment. PS Did you watch the game and see some of the horsespit calls that went against the Jets? I'm going to guess no.
Come on now. Sanchez completed one pass on the first scoring drive (first play of the drive). The running game led them to that TD. The next (final) drive, he did pretty well. But he couldn't get them past midfield. Again, if not for incidental/accidental contact, the game is over. I'm not arguing whether or not is was PI by rule. I'm saying it was accidental by a guy who was turned and looking for the ball. Pure luck/fate whatever you want to call it. Sanchez flung it up there. Little more than a hail mary on 4th down. And then the Broncos blow a snap at midfield. So no, I'm not acknowledging this 'comeback' as anything more than a technicality.
