I saw our schedule next year, and it for once...looks good. doesnt seem hard at all... besides the usual punk Jets, Patsies, and Bills....we also face the Raiders, Chargers, 49ers, Seahawks, Ravens, Denver, Kansas City, Arizona, St. Louis, Houston. the only scary teams i see there are Seattle and San Diego. Raiders, 49ers, Ravens, Broncos, Chiefs, Cardinals, Rams, Texans....seriously, those should be wins if Parcells can upgrade our defense especially. id say the Jets and Bills shouldnt be hard either, but they always seem to be no matter how much they suck.
I thought we would be about 8-8 this year after looking at the schedule. It seems like we often play our worst against the cupcakes...like the Houston Texans. I just hope the Tuna fixes things on offense and defense.
That is not the schedule. That is a list of opponents for 2008. Probably should merge this thread with the other opponents thread.

We finished 1 and 15 and you guys are already talking about us beating the Patriots. The first thing we need to do is stop beating ourselves.
We were 1-15 and now we are just going to beat all of those teams? First thing we need to do is understand how bad we are, what needs to be done to fix that, and who we will acquire to try and fix the problems. The if we are lucky we go "maybe" we don't get blown out every other game....
This year our strength of schedule (.539%) ended up being the most difficult in the AFC and 5th most difficult in the NFL as you can see here. Our strength of schedule for next year, based on our opponents record this year is .465%, significantly better.
Maybe the Patriots lose fourteen players next year. We would have been 8-8 if Ronnie, Trent and Zach were playing this season. Easy. This team is not that bad. Half the starters weren’t even playing. Hey man- it’s a new year!
Hmm the texans again, doubt we play them on the road for the third year in a row, but living in Houston I would love to see Miami finally beat those mofos after sitting through 2 losses this season and last. Theyve actually got the makings of a good team there though. NFC teams dont scare me at all, not even the Seahawks. Not saying we will beat them all, but in general the NFC is the current minor league, and that division is one of the worst ....
Thats the rub there. Its weak based on this year, but once we get into the think of it .... Its nice to dream though, man id love to play in a division with teams like Rams and Falcons though
This happens every year...people start to look at the teams we're playing and say that we can beat this team or that team cos they're not that good...guess what? any team playing us is gonna feel like they should win that game....we need to start focusing on how good we can get instead of how bad the other teams are. Ozzy rules!!
only thing to remember is a team can change it's dynamics overnight with a good offseason. Not saying it will happen to us but in this league if you make the RIGHT signings over the SEXY signings you can turn a team around real quick.
