2008 QUESTIONS

After arguably regressing in his second year, can Vince Young improve his pocket presence and reading of coverages to become the bona fide franchise quarterback the Titans paid for?

New offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger has been working on Young's footwork during the offseason, hoping to improve the accuracy of his passes. A lack of top-notch receivers remains a concern.

Will the Titans be able to score more touchdowns, after a season that saw them last in red-zone scoring?

Former offensive coordinator Norm Chow lost his job because of this and Heimerdinger is focused intensely on finding ways to score touchdowns. The arrival of veteran tight end Alge Crumpler should also help, giving Young a valuable target close to the end zone.

Can the defensive line maintain its depth and dominance from 2007 despite the losses of Antwan Odom, Travis LaBoy and defensive tackle Randy Starks?

Albert Haynesworth and free-agent signee Jevon Kearse need to be productive for an entire season without injury. There is no concern about the ability and consistency of All-Pro defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch.

Are the Young fans going to blame his receivers once he has another amazing more INT's than TD's performance in 2008? It is always anyone but Mike Vic.... errr.. I mean Vince Young's fault.
