I don't understand this point of view. Nobody has ever said that if you live in an NFL market city you must support the local team.

 

We support the team by making a point of watching games when they come on, either at the bar or at home if we have Sunday Ticket, and buying gear. For example, I intend to buy a Marino jersey in the new style, a shirt, at least one hat, and a hoodie. I also am going to make a point to attend the game at Foxboro, since I'm probably going to be moving relatively soon to an area with no football team at all.

If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd outright buy the share that he wants the county to finance. It's about ways and means, my man.
