So last night the world was blessed with specs and images of the long rumored hand held gaming device from Microsoft, now dubbed the ZuneX. Said to have: - Built in Micro SD Slot - SIM Card Tray - Bluetooth headphone support - Optical digital output/ analog line output - ZuneX Original Games - Xbox Originals - OnLive Ready (huge imo) - 32GB Flash Drive - Built in rechargeable battery http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/19667/Is-This-the-Microsoft-Digital-Entertainment-Handheld/
can't get to the link or see the pics from work, but sounds awesome. I'm a little tired of my DS. The last game I got for it was Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced, but got burned out at around 50 hours so I never finished it.
yeah, nice! Is there anything about it having a web browser? I wonder if it could replace my iPod touch...
Hmm. Wonder how they're going to port X-Box originals with no dual analog sticks. The PSP's main gripe was the lack of a 2nd.
still cool. Castlevania SoTN on the go baby. Also if they are WiFi I'll be playing Uno at work with buddies
is this gonna have internet on it? im probably missing it somewhere did it say how much space for music on there?
This is where Apple should jump in the gaming industry. They could market their "cool" factor with an iGame or something similar.
onlive ready?...what does that mean? Id be stoked to have some of my arcade games on the go though. Street Fighter II and soon Marvel Vs. Capcom II, on the go!? CRAZY!
I think its a little late for anyone to jump in on handheld gaming market right now. Nintendo has a more than comfortable lead and Sony picked up the leftovers.
You're right, it's near impossible for anyone to compete with Nintendo in the handheld market. BUT, Sony has only been in one generation, I think Microsoft could take a considerable bite out of their market share.
since no one has spoon fed me any info on whether is will be able to browse the internet I went and found out on my own... Linky and the answer is YES!!! EDIT: whoops, I was thinking the Zune HD and the ZuneX were the same thing...
