I am sure a lot of you have seen the new commercial on ESPN about if we fallowed our health like fallowed sports. Well as I am getting older I am realizing how important it is. So for some of the motivation-ally challenged here is a link to the site

    http://www.ahrq.gov/realmen/index.html

They have some good info on there, now I just need to start putting that info to good use. Just like putting this Wii Fit to good use. I think it will be a fun way to become more active, because I can see a big difference on how active I am just between the 10 year span of 30 -40. I encourage everyone just check it out.

And ladies just so you don't feel left out there is a link to a woman's page:yes:

wii fit - i think that isn't as effective as they advertise.

i mean sure it does something... i mean sitting there & breathing burns calories. But a healthy game of Dance Dance Revolution or Guitar Hero probably burns more. (i've played all of them and can honestly say nothing will kick your arse more than DDR in the cardio department. )

**edit: i'm speaking of playing DDR on the mat, not with the controller ;)

I wouldn't be so sure. Wii Boxing is pretty intense, add in leg movements with the Wii Fit and you got yourself a decent cardio workout.

given that people can do it sitting down..... it comes down to individual's discipline. ;)

    LMAO

    Well obviously!

No one is gonna exercise if they don't want too. All I was saying is if you really get into that stuff you can easily burn some calories.
