I've recently started lifting again after a long layoff, nice for me, but the problem is, the next day I'm much more sore and stiff then I was back in the day.

Are there any legal supplements that can help to alleviate that initial stiffness? I've tried Creatine and didn't care for it, I've been using Ripped Fuel and it's "okay" but not much better then aspirin for the stiffness.

    Any suggestions?

I would just recommend a lot of stretching and def drinking a ton of water.

Stretching helps, for obvious reasons. Water will help move the lactic acid that builds in your muscles from wo (that causes soreness), out of your system quicker.

Typically I drink a gallon and half of water a day though, that is why I'm looking for a supplement to help make it over the initial hump.

The mind is thinking "three sets, one until failure" the body is saying it doesn't think so...

Then I'd say man up or start off slower and work your way into that.

Usually if I take a break then start back again, I get the initial soreness for about a week or two then it's gone... Did you like just start within the past week or two??

More or less, I had been lifting about twice a week as maintenance.

No worries though, I "think" I've found what I was searching for.

There it is, same workout but I added Super Pump 250 and that helped a ton.

42 days until Training Camp opens, I'm at 49 inches in the chest and 16 and 16.5 on my arms and 19 inches on my neck.

I'm trying to get to 52/17.o and 18 inches...should be fun,

Fairly standard one, mostly large doses of amino acids and vitamins, no ephedra or even white whillow bark.

Yeah, it sounds odd but when I start training again, the first place I notice a reduction is in my neck area.

When I was lifting seriously my chest was maybe '54 inches or so, but 41 days is not enough time for that sort of growth.

Idk **** about most supplements. The only thing I take is a creatine shake once in awhile as a meal replacement bc I'm too lazy for breakfast some days.

lol I'm actually trying to gain size in my neck.

It's worked for me, one of the reasons why I stopped lifting was my elbows were in bad shape (long story) since I've been taking supplements and lifting light weights, they've come back, granted it was mostly huge doses of crystal Vitamin C that I credit for the turnaround, but the other supplement has helped as well.

Sucks man, all your old collared shirts no longer fit..

Hah, that's true. As it is, I've been consistently gaining about 5lbs every 6 months. It's definitely taking quite a toll on my wardrobe.

I refuse to be one of those guys who only wears smediums to show off.

Well, 52.5/17.5 and 17/19 on the neck.

Not terrible, but I worked out maybe 3 times a week which was not quite enough, I'm happy with the results.
