A 9-8 season would be good. You could see games again Arizona, Indy and Tennessee as games the Phins would have won if Tua didn't moronically get another concussion. So they could have been a 12-win team.
But I still don't see them as top tier. I don't think I can take another week of all this cold-weather talk heading into another first round playoff loss.
Take the consolation prize of yet another winning season and move on to next year to fill some holes. Like Backup QB!!!! Beating the Jets again would be nice as well.
That's all in Denver's hands now though.
Hard to overlook the Titans and Jets coming up, but the Dolphins sites are clearly on the #1 seed and the game against the Ravens will probably decide that.
Assuming a win against the Titans on Monday Night. (Will Levis can't handle this Defence) It would be really cool if the Bills did beat the Chiefs because we'd maintain our 3-game lead on the Bills and open a 2-game lead on the Chiefs.
But part of me just wants to see the Bills go away. I don't want Week 18 to matter to them.
I still want to see the Chiefs win. I want to see the Bills below .500 and be able to laugh at them.
The Phins need to beat the Ravens or Cowboys for anyone to take them seriously going into the playoffs. 11-6 with 3 L's to close out the season won't make any of us feel good about this team.
This didn't take long. . .
The one thing you can say about these McDaniel Dolphins. They don't seem to fall for trap games.
The Commies/Former Racist Logos have a piss poor pass defence. Tua should eat. Sam Howell also gets sacked a lot. They're the Jets with a worse defence.
The Titans don't scare me at this point, would have liked them to be starting Tannehill though. And hosting a tanking Jets team should be a formality.
Never forget.
I don't suspect the Dolphins will have trouble scoring, they certainly didn't in the regular season game last year in the Snow. Maybe not 70, but 30 plus is easily attainable. Washington was moving the ball well against Buffalo, but kept turning the ball over.
Josh Allen is the wildcard here. He could suck, or he could win the game for them as he did in that same December game. His incompetence also lost the Bills that Week 3 game in Miami. It also damn near lost them the playoff game against Skylar Thompson.

Something happened in the 4th game that led to that result....
I would suggest we beat the Vikings or Jets should Teddy or Skylar have played the full game.
In both those games the first team starter leading into game was injured in the first half. It's hilariously bad luck. And then in the New England game after that Christmas Day disaster, Teddy gets injured again!!!
I'm glad Mike White got some reps and looked really good.
Even if they lose, there will probably only have three games where they won't be the obvious favourite the rest of the season, assuming no major injuries.
(Eagles and Chiefs being the other two, not sure about the Cowboys anymore)
I do think the Bills will have trouble keeping up with this offence. The Patriots have a more stout unit and they had enough trouble. Armstead wasn't on that team. The Fins will hopefully have Waddle back too.
I'm not expecting a win on the road against Buffalo, but I'm certainly optimistic considering what I've seen.
The number one priority of the team should be to keep Matt Milano at least 20 yards away from Tua, at all times.
So this team has Ahmed and Jeff Wilson Jr behind Mosert and Archane.
They're stacked at RB right now.
I remember starting a thread last year opining that they're a lock for 10 wins with all the hype from the 5-game win streak.
This falls a part the minute, heaven forbid, Tua gets hurt again.
So yeah this is fund, and it looks like the Fins could easily be 5-1 or 6-0 by mid October.
The Pats kicker made a 49 yarder.

They really should bring in another kicker. Sanders has been garbage ever since he got his big contract. Some of you might remember Marino's last legit shot at a Super Bowl in 95 when he got them in field goal range with less than one minute on the clock only to lose on a missed field goal. Out of the playoffs as SD goes on to the Super Bowl. History tends to repeat itself so let's cut this guy today and move on.
Pete Stoyanovich

Ugly win against a good NE team. D did step up compared to last week and Chubb finally had a good game. Mostert had a great game and the O-line had another good showing. Tua was not spectacular and has to work with Williams on those snaps, besides that he can’t have a game like last week every game and we played a divisional game, look what happened to Allen against the Jests last week…
They did cover right? On the Road, against a good Defense.
As much as the Patriots were driving, it was only for the tie.
They should have put them away after the Mosert TD, but that bobbled snap on 3rd and 1 and Sanders miss made the game far more interesting.
The FG unit made this game much closer than it should have been.
So we really have to be within the 30 yard line before feeling good about being in FG range nowadays.
If it's 4th and 10 on the 35 yard line. I'd rather the Dolphins go for it.
I had no confidence in Sanders making that 4th quarter FG.
McCourkle is not Justin Herbert, so we've got that going for us.
The New England Secondary is probably better than LA's, so maybe we can't expect a historic passing day from Tua. But they probably won't need it.

after all the hype about Rogers , his season might be over already.
It is over. He's done. It's the most Jets thing imaginable.
That game couldn't have gone any better for Dolfans.
Sure no one should wish injury on other players. But this Jets team is not a Super Bowl contender now.
Rodgers goes down and everyone assumes the Bills blow them out. Well no, Josh Allen is a hot-headed moron and lost the game for them.
Jets D is good. Good enough to beat Tua and Co? We don't know they've never played. The Jets have only gotten Skylar Thompson in the McDaniels area.
I can say for certain that this Bills team has peaked.
