The only thing so far that frustrates me about the way the game is set up is the tanks being placed on big team battle. There is literally nothing that will take them out easily except another tank. Almost every game starts the same way; both tanks head out towards each other, whoever spots the other tank first destorys it, then opens up a can for the rest of the game. They need to add the rockets back in for sure, especially on the Blood Gulch remake.

my enthusiasm for this win is tempered by the fact our offense only put together one scoring drive. Our defense definitely won this one for us.

Played the entire campaign co-op legendary yesterday. ended up taking about 9 hours I think. Then played another 8 or 9 hours of firefight and matchmaking.

The new firefight is so good, a million times better than the ODST firefight.

I'm pumped we won, but serisouly, there are definitley legitimage issues with this game. We scored 13 points against a team that is bottom tier. 13 That is simply not getting it done, regardless of how well you thought Ricky, Ronnie, or Henne played. Especially when they have an explosive guy like Spiller back there, it only takes one breakdown.

Henne played a game very similar to how I would have expected Pennington to play this game, and I'm hoping it was because of the wind and nothing else. They really need to let him get the ball downfield more than once or twice a game, because if he's not doing that, Pennington would be a better fit for this offense IMO.

Gotta put Mike Golic on there as well. Mike and Mike in the morning is terrible. He actually picked the Jets to go to the Super Bowl :no:

the ones with the same name are exactly the same IIRC. MW1, though, has some perks that were removed or toned down for MW2. Juggarnaut was removed and put as a death streak for example.

when I stopped playing the UPM45, RPD, and M16 or FAMAS were the most used guns. Also you are going to get beat up until you unlock some new perks like cold blooded. This game doesn't treat new players that well, if you need to and are getting killed by choppers and harriers too much, swich to the default class that has cold blooded so you can avoid them.

I worded the original post poorly, and people ran with it and derailed this into a doom and gloom thread. I never said Henne sucked, I never said we suck, I never said we weren't going to win a game. I just posed a question I thought might be interesting to discuss.

haha, yup. Right about the time everyone unlocked the akimbo 1887's :) I also switched to BC2 for awhile. Then Red Dead, now I'm probably going to hit the Halo's again until Reach comes out.

Some of you guys need to calm down. This is a discussion forum. We discuss things. If you don't like the topic, don't post.

Right now the only thing to discuss is preseason. We had a bad one IMO. So that's what most of the discussion is going to be about. It doesn't mean we're predicting the end of the world.

whose cliffjumping and whose crying? I just wanted to see if anyone else maybe saw something in Henne that I missed. I even mentioned playcalling in the original post as a factor.

I wanted to see Henne come out and take the job and really show something. He didn't. He showed about as much as Pennington and Thigpen.
