The Mariners young staff may carry that putrid offense to the playoffs!
-
No way the Mets beat my Phillies or win the NL East. Marlins won't finish 4th in the NL East, they'll finish 2nd behind my Phils. Cubbies always tighten up come playoff time. Otherwise, nice job!!!! -
-
The Marlins wont finish 4th
The Marlins will finish 2nd
Cubbies always tighten up around playoff time
Now what you got wrong:
The Marlins will finish 2nd....behind MY Mets.
The Phillies will finish 4th cause their starting pitching is quite possibly the worst starting staff in the NL 2-5.
Hey remember 2006? Get ready for a repeat of how the Mets ran away with the division brotha :tongue2: -

You have the Redsox losing to the Angels in the WC, and then Redsox beating Yankees in the Divisonal -
Breakout season for Cameron Maybin!!!!
-
 - that is my prediction for baseball this year.
edit
on topic, phillies repeat. -
Boik...the standing in the West should look like this...
1.) Angels
2.) A's
3.) Rangers
4.) Mariners
You needed a bigger space in between first and second. I could see all three of those teams losing 90 games.
My A's are going to be terrible. They are loaded with young pitchers but relying solely on young pitchers is NOT a good idea.DonShula84 likes this. -

Braves win the East. A combination of their much improved pitching staff, Francoer learning how to hit again, and their future superstar centerfielder puts them back on top over the overhyped defending champs and the Mets. Chipper probably won't play in 140 games but if he somehow does that seals the deal even further.

Dont see whats so unbelievable about that.
-
If one or two of their starting pitchers goes down (as they did last year) how many wins do you project for them?
2nd Place in the NL East probably means around 90 wins, maybe more. I dont see that happening. -
The O's will be in the World Series
-
I'd argue that we're better than last year. And only Andrew Miller went down for any significant time.
-
-
In my opinion the NL East goes down like this...probably whoop the heck out of the rest of the NL save for the Cubs, Cards, D-backs and Dodgers; the only other non pushovers in the NL:
Mets: 97-65
Marlins: 89-73
Braves: 87-75
Phillies: 81-81
Nats: 75-87 (love the over on the 71 wins that Vegas gave them)
I could easily see the Braves flipping spots with the Marlins if anything happens to Johnson or Nolasco. :wink2: -
No I know. JJ and Sanchez missed time recovering from injuries suffered in 2007. Obviously if we lose a couple of starters we're screwed but that holds true for every team
-
I'll **** myself if the Phils only win 81 games. -
Combine that with a step down in LF (from Burrell to Ibanez...Ibanez makes Burrell look like a Gold Glover) and an awful 2-5 on the starting staff and its not hard to see why it could happen. -

No one has the Royals finishing above last. :pity:

I kind of like their chances in a bad division.padre31 and Vengeful Odin like this. -

Problem the Royals have is losing is contagious, they've lost an unbelievable amount of games the last 5 years.Vengeful Odin likes this.
