If you haven't heard, GIK (Mat, one t... wait, what do they call a man with no arms or legs on the front porch?... anyway, Mat couldn't do it this year because he's so busy with his offline life... whatever the hell that is, but you know, best of luck in your future endeavors man. :hi5:) and his sidekick, Mach, wait.. this is where I'm supposed to say something nice, is a good guy but, you know, he's a Raiders fan.

So, that left an opening or void to fill the seat which I have gladly accepted. In case you missed Boik's thread earlier today. yes, it's that time of year again! I'm running this show we call the 12th annual 2014 GML. I DO NOT PLAN ON PICKING A TEAM! We'll see how this fills out, but I'm going to be too busy this tax season to partake in team building exercises, as it were.

This will be where you list your teams that you want to GM. I'm going to bump it from 5 to 10 teams that you need to list to help facilitate the widdling down as some of you will no doubt list the same teams. You've done your homework. You know which ones have cap space and multiple draft picks. etc etc.

My goal will be to keep most of the rules the same for continuity sake. We'll be using the overthecap website for their salaries and cap charges. I'll be putting together (lord help me) rosters over the next week or so. I definitely want to have free agency start here BEFORE (at least a week or so) the "real" NFL free agency period starts. The NFL Draft is not until May this year. The GML draft will be well before that because I know, as in years past, we need to have things closer together to keep interest going. Anyway, I'll have a calendar up eventually with important dates.

Now then, tiebreakers with respect to picking teams.

First, this applies to only the Dolphins... Since many of you will no doubt pick the Dolphins... a warning. If you put the Dolphins at #1 (putting them at #2 will be pointless by the way), you MUST list all 32 teams in order of preference, you will enter a random generator where the winner will be awarded the Dolphins at a later date (to be decided). The rest of the teams on your 32, will be awarded AFTER the rest of the non picking Dolphins GM's have been awarded their top 10 list. Such is the life of being a Dolphins fan eh?

The rest of the teams with tiebreakers will be handed out by a secret formula comprised of seniority / active participation in the past etc etc. If you've dropped out of this before (for whatever reason), unfortunately, I have to weigh that in picking your teams as well. Sorry.

PM me if any questions. I will be sending out PM's to all the GM's that participated last year. But if you are new here, first, welcome aboard, if you are posting your list before 32 GM's have checked in, you will get a spot!! Once we have 32 GM's locked in, by that I mean have their 10 teams listed in this thread, the selection process will be closed. So list your teams quickly once I open this thread!!

I received a PM from Saint Greg and he is in... and is taking the Saints. If you're new here, he's been doing this longer than I believe anyone on the GM roster so far (but correct me if I'm wrong) and he's always had the Saints as he is... A Saints fan.
