As soon as everyone cuts to 25 and GIK inputs the rosters. Then he can give us a date that it onsets.

Can players that finished last year and are beginning this year on IR be carried over on IR or do they have to be on the 25? When is deadline for cuts?

Not sure about the IR question.

Deadline for the cuts is as soon as you can get them in so that GIK can input the rosters and get the league opened for business.

You can throw him on IR after rosters are inputted then put in a waiver claim with your extra roster spot.

Yahoo has to list the player as injured, and ar that point, you can put him on the list until hes not. I've done it at the start of each of the last two years. However, i believe that we only have two IR slots, which makes it really hard to keep players who have a long term injury.

Pick your guys you want to keep, right? :) I wouldn't hurt to have 1 more spot in the IR, but we do have 25 total spots and the 2 IR, so you've got double your starting lineup available

I've lost some of my best players to season ending injuries fairly early each of my two years in the league. I wish there was a way to put them on season ending IR while keeping the two other spots for guys who are just out short term. There were points last season I was going into a week with like 20 healthy guys.
