Wouldn’t mind adding a WR1 type of anyone wants to move one. Shoot me a message and let’s see if we can work something out. Thanks!
There has been a trade: MotorBoaters sends Sam Howell to Zeke and Destroy Zeke and Destroy sends his earliest 2024 3rd rnd pick and his 2025 3rd round pick. @GridIronKing34
Washington is schitzo. Destroyed by Buffalo one week, take Philly into OT the next, then destroyed by Chicago.
Gotta love the play from behind yardage and scores! Was figuring they'd have a bit more, being the hapless Bears, but that D had their number most of the night.
Well it sucks Achane got hurt but gotta say pretty happy with my draft this year. Had a feeling about Puka and knew he was going to get an early shot at some playing time but wow, he FAR exceeded expectations. Still doesn't excuse some of my previous drafts, trading down and passing on McCaffrey to pick John Ross for example, but this one feels pretty good
Not to be a Chad here but I think we need to implement a rule that penalizes non playoff teams for starting players who are on IR, BYE, or OUT that results in tanking. If it directly influences the team’s draft status, whether intentional or not, the team should be automatically dropped to the 6th spot.
Makes sense to me. I'm earning my spot by sucking fair and square. You're getting my best lineup today.
… and I’m not suggesting people are intentionally tanking. Maybe a manager isn’t active that week and doesn’t realize his team’s status. However, the outcome should still be the same though— if you start an inactive player, whether intentional or not, it immediately drops you to the 6th spot if your loss has an impact on draft order.
Hate it when I'm up against Miamis best in Fantasy. If I lose today it better be cuz Mostert and Waddle got 3 td and 150 yds each dammit. I'd be OK if Wilson got Mosterts TDs tho.
Mine i unfortunately didn’t have a choice due to byes and a late inactive I didn’t expect. Oh well - good chance the 72 Dolphins are drinking champagne tomorrow night!
Just speaking in general to be proactive about it… although Sunshine & the Pitts (2-4) would qualify. Had an IR player in the starting lineup during a week his team was losing until AJ Brown went off and Tua had to face Philly. I know it wasn’t intentional on his part… but that’s not the point.
In another one of my Leagues, it's the winner of the Consolation Ladder that gets the #1 pick (Runner up gets #2 etc) to prevent tanking. It works quite well
The unknown disappearance of Keontay Ingram allows the 72 Dolphins to drink champagne. Congrats Forsett on a hard earned victory. While hoping SF would have known to cover Hockenson, apparently that wasn't in the cards.
Top 3 teams within 8 points of each other. Wow. Gonna be a brawl to the finish! Still looking for a WR1
And given that the current 5 seed is 3-4, virtually everyone is still alive, which makes the rest of the year more interesting.
I should have started Will Levis instead of Stroud today! Four TD passes. A good problem to have with my two rookies going forward. I got 12.9 points instead of 34.6.
Looking for draft picks and younger players. Kupp and Henry available. Not looking to trade picks in mid rebuild.
Well, I'm feeling pretty good about drafting Stroud this year. And Levis is looking like a good second option when I need him.
No disrespect to Sunshine but this is the 2nd time in the past 3 weeks he’s started a player who was declared out or on IR days prior. Please check your lineup over the weekend for inactives. There are a few managers who are close to you in pt total, and I think it goes without saying that it wouldn’t be fair if they finished ranked higher just bc of missing starters. Cheers.
Battle between myself and Forsett this week to stay in playoff contention. The winner is .500 and no worse than 7th place, and potentially as high as 5th. The loser is 2 games under .500 and potentially as low as 10th place.
10+ needed from the Bills Def - let’s do it Buffalo! also, will be interesting to see if Ridder makes a comeback with the opportunity now. open to trades if anyone wants to move some pieces around.
We have a few days til the deadline....I'm willing to move pieces for picks or young players. Not trading picks as I'm in rebuild
I'm gonna just live with what I've got and hope for better results next year, unless someone is so desperate for a QB that they want to inquire about Pickett or Zach Wilson.
Big game tomorrow for the Blunts. Coach is making some risky moves. Hope they pay off or we may have to fire his ***.
