Meh... sorry, but only 30k season ticket holders for a professional football team is pathetic by NFL standards. I do however respect them for putting up the cash to still support the team because thats what its all about, but to be excited about this... sorry, its pretty miserable.

Fans who stopped buying season tickets and can afford them aren't any less of a fan. They're fiscally responsible. Proud to say I haven't bought any tickets or merchandise in 2 years. Too smart to buy a ****ty product that costs hundreds, thousands of dollars. Granted I'm a broke college student, but still... Hopefully we can get that number to 15,000 by next season, and get some real change around here.

I won't speak for anyone else here but I will fully support any QB that lines up under center for us and hope he can take us where we want to go. And I'll never hope we lose games in order to get a prospect that may never even get us there. I'm not saying that's what you're doing, but it appears that way. And remember, no matter who the QB is, there are no guarantees. See: Dan Marino.
Just gotta hope and cheer for the best year in and year out, man.steveincolorado and Killer Bees like this. -

The top pick is no guarantee, but it gives a MUCH higher chance than any mediocre pick. And that's only going to be even more the case from here on out. This is a QB driven league. The chances of landing Aaron Rodgers with the 24th pick are slim to none. QB is so important that we have 2nd round at best talents like Christian Ponder, Blaine Gabbert, Jake Locker, even Tannehill to some extent, going high in the draft. -
