Yikes, sucks for him but he had serious head injuries. Still always puzzled me people wanted to spend a 2nd or 3rd on him.

I mean the connection made sense but his concussion history was too much.

Not 100% retired yet, as this article says he will revisit the decision after this season. The chances of him playing again will be pretty slim to non-existent though.

I admit I was one of those that wanted us to draft him, and really wanted him when we got to the 3rd/4th rounds, but then I wasn't aware of the full impact of his concussion issues.
