Musical cornerbacks is not a game I want to play looking at the next four weeks of the schedule!

According to the beat reports, he is still rehabbing his groin injury. Apparently related to the sports hernia surgery.

So DJ played 2 snaps basically when it was a victory already, our 2nd can't practice, 3rd can't, 4th cant. Great draft and contributions so far.

The only person missing from practice is Jamar Taylor, what are you on about?

I thought Patterson was held out of the practice, not just limited.

yeah all the beat writers said he didn't but james walker wrote that he had a limited practice, very strange

Starting cornerback Dimitri Patterson sat out Tuesday's practice because of the groin injury he aggravated in Sunday's 23-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns, and rookie Jamar Taylor, the team's second-round pick, begins his second week rehabbing his own groin injury.

Fortunately for the Dolphins injury depleted secondary Will Davis, the team's third-round pick, returned to practice. Davis sat out the last two weeks because of a left toe injury.

Davis suffered the toe injury on Aug. 24 in Miami's 17-16 preseason loss to Tampa Bay and hasn't practice since. His level of participation is unclear.

If Patterson doesn't play against the Colts on Sunday the Dolphins will likely start Nolan Carroll opposite Brent Grimes, and use safety Jimmy Wilson as the nickel.

Have more faith in James personally, but nobody's perfect...he could be confusing somebody...Fin D woulda said Sam Madison was there.

I hope Davis is able to beat out Wilson as the nickel back. Frankly either way gives me pause but I think Davis is more athletically talented.

Against Luck, with Reggie Wayne and Ty? Hm. Could be bad. Hopefully the D line can provide enough pressure that deep routes are out of the question.

Doesn't mean pattersons not playing.

Off topic, but did you see another "article" posted by Omar on that page, "Can the Dolphins overcome all this drama?" We had problems covering the Browns TE Cameron so not sure if Ellerbe or Wheeler's assignment, but my #1 concern will be Nolan Carroll one on one with Wayne or Ty. My #2 concern will be Luck converting 3rd downs running the ball.

Jordan played 17 snaps on defense. Also saw him out there on the kick coverage team.
