The sky isn't falling. We showed some good things, but also had some first game problems that can be fixed over time.... like many other teams!

Be happy with the win, just enjoy it. We are tied for #1 in the division right now.

We will be fine.

 

Considering we don't know how good this team is yet, I don't see myself disappointed.

We dominated the game, the score didn't show that. We need to pull in those int's, and Henne needs to connect on those long passes. Our Wrs need to do a better job too tho.

But gods...i dont think i've seen that good of a dolphins defender since JTs mvp season...with Dansby. The guy was running with Lee F'n Evans, and covered him well enough to force a bad throw.

What he and Marshall add is just not measurable. Henne needs to get better. I have had his back for a while, and put it on the WRs... but he does need to get better. He may.

Was frustrating watching Henne, with plenty of time, not being able to find an open receiver. I realize Buffalo`s secondary is probably their only strong point but still it was nerve racking at times. All in all it was a divisional opening day road win so we might as well take it and move on.

I don't understand this it produces positive yardage but somehow it "kills" our drives. yet if it was a regular run play no one would say anything.

When we are in the playoffs your not going to look back and think wow that was an ugly win against Buffalo.....your just going to see it as another win that helped us get a shot at the superbowl!! I thought I read #28 but I guess I was wrong. I knew it was suppose to be 3 or 4 deep coverage (Culver was suppose to be deep regardless) but I thought it was #28 instead of #29... but in a sports bar on 32-40 inch TVs with zero sound for the Miami game... the #9 looked like a #8.

 

I'll take a disappointing win over a great loss anyday and twice on Sunday and for all the Henne naysayers you do realize that the Bills pass defense was rated second best last year, right? You do remember last years game with its 3 INTS, right?

Nothing disappointing about it. We are 1-0. Some players need to play better next week to win in Minny and they're more than capable.

I gotta believe the wind had something to do with that. that is the same direction that Fields had trouble with as well. Henne seemed mobile enough as he did scramble for a first down. Besides except for a couple of times Henne had plenty of time.

 

Agree. Some of his points I don't agree with and some are valid concerns, though no game will be error free and with a win fans just want to say woohooo! No need to get too feisty with a member of this community.

Is this thread some sort of inside joke us older folks aren't privy too? Because I dont get it. We won the game. The defense we were all talking about looked awesome minus one bad play by culver and we won our first game, on the road over a division rival.

One could only hope to be this disappointed every game for the remainder of the season.
