djphinfansubscriberOPSo my best friend went to practice tonight and sent me about a hundred text's..
I will preface by saying that i respect his eye, it's not as good as mine:wink2:, and he know's that, but I respect it....
First off he sent me a pic of his new navigation system and said, "she's taking me to dolphin's camp'.. "her name is Scarlett"..{named after the beautiful dumpling Scarlett Johansen}
I replied.... "She's pretty hot"......{ why, because I have my own, and her name is "sheila"..and I love her too}.........lol..
then there was 10 min's of silence, and the pelting of nuggets insued.
Here we go.

rafaelforum_veteranIt sounds like Vontae is getting abused by Marshall. I heard the same from some friends who went to other practices, but everything I read in the paper makes it sound like Marshall is only beating Smith. It's no wonder I'm reading posts that ridiculously claim that Davis is our best CB.
I do like to hear that Davis was sent on the blitz. I think it suits his skills set perfectly and I speculated a couple of days ago that Nolan might try that.
Turner sounds like the same old Turner.
Nice to hear that Smith got a pick.
Don't like hearing that he picked Henne.
I wonder if Nalbone is ready to make some noise this year? We could really use a receiving target at TE.

It doesn't surprise me that Davis was sent on a blitz. He's a very aggressive player and that should be one of his strengths and he did a few times last year.
I've been saying for a very long time now that Nolan likes to bring a lot of pressure from his DBs. That's also the reason why I expect The Bullfrog to have a great season. :up:

This. I went to the 5:00 practice on Saturday, got there 20 minutes early and Bess was the only player on the practice field and he was catching balls from the jug machine. Interesting tidbit, he had it adjusted so that he was recieving 10-15 yard bullet passes. Hopefully he becomes our automatic 10 yard slot guy.
Misi was the second guy out, for what it's worth.

This is a pretty everyday thing for Bess, or so I've read in the TC reports. Kid is working hard, hopefully for him and us it pays off.

SamphinNew MemberI don't know if anyone remembers, but Bess developed a case of the drops after Pennington went down and Henne and his rocket arm came in. He eventually adjusted, but he seemed to be one of the guys thrown off by the velocity difference between the two.
Him working with the juggs machine on bullet passes is a VERY good sign. I would like to see him do this whil running routes and moving as it would better simulate gameday motions.
