For those who think Fasano can not make a difference in getting down the field like other TE's for big gains, this should be of interest.
Fasano is averaging 13.4 yards per catch.
He is behind a bit to Gates @ 15.6, and Davis @ 15.
He is also behind them in YAC.
He has 5.6, and they have 7 and 6.5.
Other TE's, who you likely thought
were doing a lot better, are not.
And he can block.
-
Get me a 2nd Fasano and I will be happier!
-
he's playing well and desrves credit but we do need a second TE LIKE BIG DOGS SAID
-
Yeah, Fasano is a very solid player for this team and I expect him to be for years to come. We do still need a decent second TE though.
-
I could not agree more on a 2nd TE but, had to give Fasano his due.
He is playing VERY well.
As to the 2nd TE, this season, there is a fair chance that most posters here would be better.
I never thought I would miss Haynos this much.
I thought of him as a developing 3rd TE.
-
I've always thought Fasano was a quality TE. 9 out of 10 times he'll make the play if given a chance. Good blocker most times and doesn't receive enough credit imo. Not the fastest by any means but a quality TE
-
Hi-Higgins, NO! You had yours!
-
And to think he is doing this with no other tight ends around to help out. Fasano is an underrated player for sure.
-
I can live with Fasano as the Dolphins TE. It the QB, running backs, and the offensive line, (except Jake Long), that I have a problem with.
-
Good for Anthony. He's a good player. Great deal getting him over here and re-signing him.
-
Decent player but sooooo slowwwwwww
-
Love the guy.Rarely there is a play that's designed just for him.
Coordinator? Maybe, but most of the catches he's made this year have been in traffic.
The others that he had room to run were Henne 3rd option to the sideline. He could use the ball more.
