This is disturbing. Thank God, none of those swings connected or someone's skull would have been cracked. He's one of my favorite players, but there has to be a line drawn somewhere that being in a sports field/arena doesn't absolve you from being charged with assault. I'm pretty sure the same actions on a high school football field would result in legal consequences.

There's no place for that in sports. I completely get playing hard and being caught up in the moment, but players have to show more restraint than that or they don't belong in the league.
I agree "indefinite" is too long for a first offense, but there should never be a 2nd offense for something like this. Donald should definitely have 6-8 week off. -

Call me silly…call it an apples to oranges comparison but if I were to take my hard hat and start swinging it at another one of my co-workers from another garage, I think I would be on unemployment.
